Latency spikes FIX (possible)

For me this kind of did the same as setting networking_type to predictive: from [instances being broken, meaning 30k ping OR completely fine] I went to [generally shitty] meaning when an instance is bad instead of getting 30k ping i get jumping ping from 30ms to 130ms.

edit: actually im not sure it might have solved it

edit2: ok didnt solve it

lokks like it worked for me thanks!!
One man did more than all this filthy company. Thank you!
Unfortunately for me, it would appear that the problem is a server issue. Since release I've had spikes on and off but the last two days have been nothing but lag. Had ten minutes earlier today where it stabilized but still just crap since then.

So, this didn't fix the issue for me. Normally the game runs pretty stable at 60-70ms and that's just fine but for the past two days it's been hovering around 200-400 with spikes up to 10k and then disconnect. Hope they get this sorted soon. Was just starting to enjoy the build!

How did you come up with that deduction?

I don't see any WinMTR posts on your forum history.

If you want to know for sure, then follow these instructions very closely when the issues are happening

WinMTR

This is what GGG recommends:
Ensure to do this when the lag, high ping, packet loss, or connection issues are happening.

After running this test per the instructions please link the URL of the pastebin back here

The instructions are the same for PoE2, just locate the file in the appropriate installation folder.
tried this. didnt work for me, is there any other solutions or confirmation that its something server side?

What do you mean you tried this and it didn't work for you? It's not a fix it's a tool to show a ping history along a route.

Showing an issue in the test is dependant on getting the correct IP from the log file and capturing the issue when it's happening
