Blasphemy Error

Thanks for video documenting this. For me it doesn't work on any weapon sets. If I manually select the weapon sets it will show as active but no spirit is consumed and it does not apply curses to enemies.

You said this started last night, was it after applying patch 0.3b? I applied 0.3b this morning and it was working at first, my initial blasphemy of despair + enfeeble setup, I switched to temporal chains on blasphemy with 2 other support gems and ran despair on manual, killed the boss, went to switch back to despair and enfeeble on blasphemy and got this bug.

I also checked as one poster mentioned it was caused for them by socketing a gem that was only active on a single weapon set, but all my curses are active on both weapon sets and still causing this issue.

So until they patch this bug is your character pretty much unplayable? That's how I'm feeling myself rn.

Same problem here, started few hours ago...

same problem for me, before last patch from last night I didn't had any issues.

earlier today the weapon swap helped, however few hours later when I logged back the issue is back and the weapon swap doesn't help anymore.

my character is still playable....in the video i show that cutting a new gem works...but the one i was using simply does not...i'm able to play fine with the new gem...atleast until it happens again, but i'll just cut a new one again.

I'm getting the same bug. Just started (trying) to use Blasphemy - it worked for a little bit then stopped. Strangely if I switch to secondary weapon (which is empty) it works! 0_o I've tried every variation of moving gems around and freeing up spirit and nothing works. Only thing I haven't done is roll a new one because i don't have a spare uncut spirit gem.

I Think i fugured out a fix. i had to remove any ws assignemnt for all curses in the skill gem and then i could activate it normally:

Having the same issue. New gem fixes it, but the existing gems are essentially bricked for me.

I think this issue occurs when a new gem (curse, buff, aura) is added while there is Heightened Curse support gem linked, which does its reservation multiplier calculation and the end result is not having enough spirit.
Instead of simply disabling Blasphemy when this happens, the game bricks the gem for the character and making that weapon (which is lacking spirit) permanently disabled until you cut a new gem.

At least I think this is how I bricked 3 of my Blasphemy gems.

this needs to fixed - clearly a bug

Please fix, my witch is also unplayable until this is working again.
