POE2 - Trial of Sekhemas no Added points

Yes the bug still exists, happened to me the same way a lot of people have said.
Completed floor 1 and 2 ascendency, altar lit up on second and said on it, interact to use points or something.
it did not grant me any points though.
One thing i will add is that my game locked up right before the floor 2 bosses, just froze and then unfroze after about 25 seconds.

I had to finish floor 3 to get any points.

Is my character ruined?

I thought I had the same problem, but it’s not at the Ascendancy Altar that you have to go to collect your points.
It’s at Balbala.
