Hope Steam preload is in the works. It'd be kind of annoying to have to set up the standalone client on Linux, since Steam just werks.

I'm here for potentially the greatest ARPG EA launch of all time. From Diablo 2:LOD to PoE, now to PoE 2. Possibly the last ARPG I'll ever spend considerable time on.

When I purchased the key I received one for steam and activated there. Can I still download the standalone client or is steam the only way I can login through?

Also please consider a few hours earlier preload, that is a really wacky time for anyone who is not American. it will be 3am on friday for me.
