Path of Exile 3.26 Expansion Timeline

every time i hear people hyping poe2 i have to wonder how much poe1 has suffered for it. what would poe1 be like now if the majority of the studios resources weren't being used on another product?

in the past people could shrug that off because you were still throwing them a bone every couple months, but now there's nothing.

Hey GGG, if you guys were testing the waters with this event, here is the summary:

- Just the lantern is not enough
- Just one lv 50 rewards is a bad idea to fill the holidays

So to counter the low effort feeling that the community is experiencing here are some ideas:
- reset challanges with random rewards (random weapon effect, portal, etc)
- add more old league stuff like crucible or krangle
- sentinels and whisps on all maps

Imagine how badass POE1 would be right now if POE2 never existed.

i've been saying this for a while now. poe2 does not, and has not, ever looked interesting to me, but the real problem is how can we financially support ggg, when it's unlikely it's going towards poe1?

Personally, I welcome the "delay" very much, because the previous leagues were always too short for me.

These suggestions look amazing.

I hope they will add a bit more to this, now we don't get any sort of league/new content. Atleast maybe some tuning on the populair builds which would make it required to think of something new?

Hey, remember when they said 4.0/PoE2 WAS going to improve PoE1? Everyone donated to GGG for years because they told us this was all going to be a massive update/overhaul to PoE1 and then they said "JK, It's a completely separate game now [in fact, we made this decision a long time ago but didn't tell you] but don't worry, PoE1 won't suffer from it"

And then people roll in here with comments as if anyone with a complaint about what has happened is an entitled prick. Before this week, I hadn't realized so many professional goal post movers played PoE.
