Singapore server Ping issue
I usually play with 20ms ping in singapore server, but since yesterday it stable 60ms ping and very often the ping spikes to 1000ms. At first I use Lockstep and it really unplayable, then I switch to Predictive. It kinda better but still the ping spikes to 1000-ish ms make my character rollbacking a lot. The fps is fine so I dont think its my PC problem. And when I play other games, They just fine. Please can you suggest something to fix my problem? I play on steam btw if that helps. Thank You!

" I recommend you do the steps in the link below when you're experiencing these issues. Not all games take the same path to their respective game servers. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1377789 Last edited by Eleven777 on Oct 17, 2024, 12:21:28 PM

" Ohh okok, but I just uninstall the steam version and installing the standalone version, and if I still have the problem then i will try to check my connection using your suggestion. Thank you for your reply!
" YW, just post the results back here if you want help analyzing the issue if it's connection related. Last edited by Eleven777 on Oct 17, 2024, 12:51:32 PM

" Okay I just try the standalone version and the problem still exists. So here is my MTR result, https://pastebin.com/GpHX5zG7
That WinMTR isn't showing any issues at all.
Either you weren't able to capture the issue when you ran this test or the issue you're seeing is not related to connection. You could try running more tests hoping to capture an issue. Last edited by Eleven777 on Oct 17, 2024, 1:20:23 PM

bro I live on the US east coast and the texas, DC, california, and canada-east servers:
1. login fine 2. spike up to 30-50k ping 3. DC/spike up again after my ping goes back down to like 20 for 2s 4. repeat 5. I realize this is a waste of my time today, and logout this doesn't happen often, but when it does you just can't play for several days. Stable connection, zero lag on any other game/online applications, y'know, the usual deal most people have when poe is on crack again. inb4 'ItS uR cOmPuTeRR!!!1!!1one' lol |

" Cool story, but the OP may have a legitimate issue with the connection to Singapore gateway, but without an issue seen in the WinMTR when it was ran then it's anyone's guess what the issue is. There are lots of reports of this gateway having issues and most of them are mid route. Some of the issues have been proven it's an ISP issue. Not seeing your WinMTR posted when you're having issues in any thread history. In fact most of your posts seem to be trolling other posters. Maybe when you're having your issues on DC, Washington, or Texas you pop out your own WinMTR in your own thread.
Also having issues on NZ/AU servers with disconnecting / spikes FWIW

Actually after I reinstall steam version the issue is gone. It sometimes still spikes a bit tho but not much rollbacking still playable. But today the issue is back. So I dont know man. I just give up :'(
