bug with the map (which opens via Tab)

when the map is open, the already open area on the map is constantly erased, that is, the route that has already been taken disappears and the map is erased every 5-10 seconds. I tried reinstalling the game and resetting the settings to default, it did not help. Please help me, it is very inconvenient to play when the map is erased and you wander around it, since you do not know where you have already run and where you have not

You can try to delete your production_Config.ini file to see if the problem is cleared.

Close PoE
Go to your Documents\My Games\Path of Exile folder
Rename production_Config.ini to production_Config.ini_BACKUP
Open PoE (all of your options/settings will be reset, e.g. sound, graphics, keybinds)

Did you read all steps in ps7ekken's post in that thread?

Do you have OneDrive syncing your Documents folder?

Do you have a 3rd party anti-virus that's blocking access or read/write restrictions to Documents?

Have you recently updated graphics drivers and did the problem start after that? If so install an older version of the driver.

Is there a Windows User Account Control issue with the account you're logged into Windows with? You can test this by creating a new temporary user account in Windows and try installing the game under that account.

Why ignore? There is an evident problem with writing short memory and it very often comes with system limitations. Since Win 7 OS is guarding all files on HDD like pitbul.
