The 3.25.1b Patch feels insulting!
Two months in the league already and two more months to go. Probably the best time for a patch and tadada here we go. But...... what the hell? So you completely ignored every single piece of feedback given to you within the last 2 months and changed nothing? Ohhh wait, you actually changed something, you added more foiled uniques to the league. Is this some out of season april fool that I'm to stupid to understand?
Feedback: Don't ignore the feedback and stop adding some strange bs instead. Suggestion: Fix the real issues with the league. " They ignored ALL the feedback, or just all of YOUR feedback? What "real" issues? Because the actual feedback offers a very different perspective than your insular opinion. |

" Funny question from a guy that hasn't even played the league. ^^ I won't go over all the problems but I'll give you an example: Run those for me. You can keep all the gold you get. Tell me how much you made! German saying: Schönheit und Funktionalität in Sekundenschnelle zu ruinieren, ist dem wahren Dilettanten keine Herausforderung!

" Personally I'm okay with certain activities being terrible for gold. It keeps mapping relevant and prevents certain activities from becoming meta that would risk ruining the economy. Think about this: Sanctum is one of the most terrible sources of gold in this league, but is also a very good source of currency. What would happen if Sanctum could give as much gold as a T17 map (for time spent)? PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish. | |
Played the league plenty on my main account. My question still stands.
It should feel insulting that they didn't listen to you personally though and fix everything you deem wrong with the league. After all, I'm sure you are 100% right about all the issues. Who cares about all the rest of the people that likely feel the opposite, they don't matter! I always feel personally slighted when GGG doesn't make every change I have wanted since 2012. Plenty of folks have voiced opposition to things I have said in the past, but as we all know they are always wrong. A direct example against your simulacrum comment: the guy above PLUS various arguments that went the same way where folks described how the league is tied to the ATLAS and anything that is outside the atlas is pretty darn often "left out" of the league mechanic. This isn't the first or even the fifth time, and it won't be the last. But of course....GGG should ONLY listen to you. Last edited by mefistozxz on Sep 25, 2024, 4:18:43 PM

" Sure that would be completely op but dropping at least as much as t15 maps would be ok I guess. ^^ I really think it is not ok to "force" people to play maps only. Almost all other aspects of the game are completely useless (gold wise) this league and I can't think of a single league before that limited your way of playing the game so much. Mapping is in a pretty good spot right now, no matter if you play t17s or if you play "only" T16s and I really like that mapping feels so good atm. But I really hate it that I almost feel stupid every time I do something beside mapping. " Sure because I'm the only one complaining here and on reddit with all my gazillion of accounts. Go troll somewhere else! ^^ German saying: Schönheit und Funktionalität in Sekundenschnelle zu ruinieren, ist dem wahren Dilettanten keine Herausforderung!

" I think the reasoning behind this decision is that, in most cases, out-of-map content tends to be more rewarding by comparison. By allowing gold to be generous in drop for them, you're now double-dipping on how much currency you can get per hour versus what you get in maps. GGG wants you to choose whether you wish to dedicate yourself to running things like Simulacrums for maximum profit, or staying with maps and supplementing lost value by engaging with Settlers stuff. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Read the title of your thread, and your first post and then we can revisit who is trolling whom.
Your complaints about the game, and perceived lack of "necessary" action from GGG doesn't make you even remotely right or justified. Maybe....just maybe....they don't agree with you? Plenty of folks even right here don't agree with you. Lower your entitlement levels and give yourself even a little bit of a chance to see the broader picture. Plus....half the complaints you just listed in your last post about sims have absolutely nothing to do with the league mechanic or league overall in the first place. They are simulacrum-specific complaints. That is a completely different issue. Also completely ignores the actual value you can get out of simulacrums and TRADE for all the other things that sims don't drop. Even your "sense" of no other league being this limiting is just straight up not true. Most leagues with some type of league-specific farmable end up the same way. Which is something like 50% of all leagues ever released. Delve players have been feeling this since Delve league. There are numerous other examples. But my disagreements nor my statements mean anything because they go against what you think, which immediately labels me a troll in your eyes. Last edited by mefistozxz on Sep 25, 2024, 4:38:53 PM

The patch was made for the Gauntlet special event that goes up in about 5 hours. So it contains special game rules specific to that event and was a side project by one guy in GGG. The things fixed in the patch are more or less the amount of hotfixes someone can reasonably expect for a team that is busy getting PoE2 in a playable state by November.
Don't expect them to do any heavy lifting for the coming months, whatever gripes you (and I) may have are not important in the grand scheme of things right now. Fear the army of dots:
