Buuump
There are countless threads about this issue throughout many leagues in tech support, bug reports and feedback/suggestions. I think it's safe to say GGG doesn't consider this to be a priority issue, or even a problem at all.

That would be pretty sad if it's true, guess I'm just not touching heist ever unless I absolutely have to for a challenge completion.
GGG probably don't expect their players to rock around on a decade old rig or something less optimal for gaming. But that should be kinda self-explanatory.
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

My rigs only a few years old, That area is terrible on performance (lately) and i played that content a number of times since its release with almost no issues.. Mind you on a GTS 240 OEM card too which isn't what i have now lol.

It's not as bad as it WAS, it feels like there's been some improvements attempted.

But it definitely could be much better and possibly have a solo-instance type option if they can't reign it in.

Additionally GGG has removed the lower end graphics settings such as potato mode and a number of other things that had enabled people to play for such an extended period of time on their hardware not only because of hardware however but just the games general performance in general people would run potato mode while in groups doing endgame farming so we wouldn't crash.

where dat potato mode?

Its funny I used to love the mtx, But these days my favorite mtx is the one that hides stuff.

The game looks so much cleaner without all the garish shit

Yeah it isn't really the problem, people with PCs that way surpass the requirements for the game still have problems there, and the game itself breaks and textures start flickering and become grey, the UI flickers in the harbor when there's too much mtx on screen. I got my current pc only a few years ago, all other content is fine at 60 fps(except group play and stuff like 5-way legion runs where it drops to 30-40). Rogue Harbor is just horribly optimized and there's no salvaging this they just need to make it solo or give us the heist NPCs in hideout already. I literally can't enjoy heist because of the mtx lightshow in that town.

Bump
Bump.

Easy fix. Let us run Heist from our hideouts.
