Buff gold or nerf town upkeep cost.
I shouldnt be playing poe as a job 6+ hrs doing alch and go t16 just to have town upkeep itself with 1 day extra also while upgrading town and needing to progress my character.
Gold cost shouldnt be balanced around 1% players who do high juiced t17 or t16 just to upkeep the town and workers. I shouldnt be playing poe as a job daily 6+hrs just to upkeep town 1 day extra as a safe spot for town to afk. My suggestion is to lower worker gold cost buff tier 16 or lower tier maps gold drops in exchange to upping market cost for currency trading because i feel like market is balanced and town upkeep is not. i offer an alternative solution.
allow players to choose between minimal or maximum output. minimal will have all hirelings except shipping and mapping operate as level 1 hires, their pay will be downscaled appropriately too. maximum is how it currently is. [Removed by Support]

Just farm and send ships with farms. Or? You just send mapper/s ? Or You just mine ore and send that with ships? Or Mine and smelt then ship? What if it's not a "game" problem... What if the problem is... you? All my energy goes to farm DW Daggers! BUFF MELEE!!1!1

" No, even if we just look at the individual systems the amount of up keep they require is so high that they have negatively impacted even end game atlas strategies. But I will level with you, not all systems are bad. Farming, mining, smelting and shipping are all in a decent spot. It is pretty reasonable to tailor those systems to your play time, skill level and input. If you can't sustain full rosters for them, you can just reduce force on all of them and get an equilibrium. And I can honestly say that at both high or low investment they do their job. But Mappers, disenchanters and recombinators are just not worth it at their current rate Using just mappers can triple your hourly gold cost alone. the success rate of the recombinators are so low you might as well use a chaos orb on your crafts instead. Them costing money is an insult as how ineffective they are. And Dust is shockingly not that valuable. It seems to only affect league specific rewards like tattoos and runes and then you only need a tiny amount per shipment. Most of the time my disenchanters are off because of this. And I get pushing back against constant complaining, But lets be realistic, GGG is good, even great.. but rare is a league that comes out of the gate perfect. finally I should point you that your level of investment in the game extremely affects how viable these systems are. judging by your current challenge completion. you are probably top 1%. " Wouldn't know, I always block blight in my atlas tree. Blocked it this league, blocked it last league, and I'll probably block it next league. But I do run quite a bit of sanctum, and you certainly don't get ten k gold per hour of sanctum. Fortunately 10k gold is less than one map, so it means I just have to run two maps and I'm good for several fun sanctum runs. |

Blight in maps with the tower deconstruction node is insane for gold by the way. Regularly get 8k+ each blight I do.
T16 ranges for me with blight/harvest/shrines is 13-28 now. Harvest gives me jack crap for gold. But I just use harvest scarab/harvest doubling/blight scarab/ and 2 domination 2 shrine scarabs. So barely 18-20c investment in maps and youll get a crap ton. Mash the clean

" Blighted maps are crap yes. Cant speak for heist never did it yet this league. Delve is crap if you dont have any modifiers (weak depth). At 300 ish right now and I get 7k per city node so delve is fine. People just dont have any clue about it. Should have savings enough to not worry about gold though during any of these mechanics.
