Ritual monster with homing green orb explosion!

I got many dead by these damn green orb bombs ,they deals very high damage
but not just that they will freeze you (or inflict shock and ignite on you)
make me dead many times.

Seriously? Orbs seems likely physical damage rather than cold damage.

These orbs seem hard to detect them while you are enjoy with killing mobs.
And again visual sound of these orbs kinda goofy.

Please, solve these issue.

Ritual was one of my favorite league mechanic I never blocked it except when I was farming scarab last league.

For the first time since its possible to block it im doing it because the mechanic is annoying me I don't know what GGG was thinking with this change not like the ritual reward are so damn good they needed that boost of difficulty.

This orbs are totaly retarded.
its like 20 of them auto targeting you on top of 60 monsters that covers the screen and at top of this 20 other on ground effects that you missing to...
its like blended salat..

Most of the time you don't see the orbs...
they have no soung effect
shocking and freezing + insane dmg

PLZ REMOVE THAT TRASH

Ritual got enought cancer by adding wildwood monsters already

Bump.

This league was supposed to return warcry slam gameplay into meta. And this mechanic makes it literally unplayable. Dozens of homing orbs, that have to be kited for full 20 seconds makes farming Ritual impossible for slow builds. I get obliterated on t3 map while having 80% ele res. And they spawn even when you don't interact with Ritual.
I feel like those Affliction mobs that now are guarding rutials are overtuned in general. I encounter white mobs that are tougher then rare mobs elsewhere, and rare monsters that take longer to kill then most map bosses. I think those mobs should be toned down in general. Green orbs makes things even worse. In intense fights it is pretty hard to see them, and they have insane damage.
maybe GGG could also tune down the on death effects.

I am runing around like a chicken trying to dodge everything and i just don't have time to attack.

as a melee build this is simply TOXIC.

the game should be fun, but this issues will one day make me destroy my desk out of the fury I get from this.

and sometimes your ritual is so badly possitioned that you get insta cancer when you click the Altar.

so yes please reduce the amount of homing spells. and on death effects,
Reduce their damage and HP by half and give their skills a cool down to make them less spamy.
If not Ritual will be blocked by many people.
They STILL have too high damage and spawn too often. CHANGE IT!

I played Ritual League but not Affliction League.

I didn't even realize what these little mint-green wispy orbs were until I was mysteriously being stunned and killed in low-tire early maps. I play necromancer, and couldn't see them due to minions + Ritual mobs.

I am finding I have to run around constantly -- I can barely stop to cast a spell. I have freeze and shock immunity and a lot of leech via my minions, and the orbs still almost kill me, especially if I'm cursed.

The difficulty is too unfair -- for a mechanic that can kill you so efficiently, it should be easier to tell what is happening or what monster is sending the orbs after you. The rare monster power that plops big lightning/shock totems on you in clusters that is very good at killing you has big animations and disturbing sound effects o let you know they are dangerous. And you get the nice sound effect for the exploding orbs that chase you and try to explode over your head. That is fair -- you can avoid them even with a busy screen.

These green homing orbs are reminding me of way back when, before all these improvements to on-death effects, when you'd kill a mob who would end up covering the ground in overlapping elemental mines, but you couldn't see them. Nowadays, it's super obvious when this happens and you have time to move out of the big circles.

These stupid wispy orbs are too small/silent/frequent AND I still can't figure out if they are coming form a monster or the Ritual altar itself!
