Error - Could not overwrite executable with new patched executable

Guys, i can't play the game... when i logout and then try to play the game again it gives me this error:
"Could not overwrite executable with new patched executable. Please make sure that PathOfExile.exe or PathOfExile.tmp are not still running, if necessary, you may need to reboot your computer." I rebooted and the error persists. I uninstall the game and installed again and i could play but when i logout and then try to play again, the same error appears. Please help!!! I have had this error a few times, and if restarting doesn't help. Try opening the PathOfExile.tmp file in a notepad, then immediately close it. When starting the client next, it seems to remove the tmp file. The client seems to be starting just fine after that.
Give it a shot, seems to be working for me! |

Find fix:
Rename .tmp file and launch update, works fine | |

Tried to open TMP file with notepad and it doesn't even open with notepad, it says the program is not responding.
Changed the name of the file and it also didn't work. Still need a fix for this. Playing through steam works by the way, its just with the Client that this happen. | |

I am experiencing the same problem. I can no longer reinstall the client, so I am reinstalling Windows...
