Trying to connect to game servers with no luck since yesterday's league start.
Steam client, MacOS Sonoma 14.5

Tried all servers in a list, no change

have the same problem
:(
same here as well. every once in a while it connects, but crashes immediately after
I had the same problem. Granting access to the Path of exile client to through the firewall seems to have solved the issue for me. System Settings -> Network -> Firewall -> Options -> add the client into the list. MacOS Sonoma 14.5.

Edit: Nevermind, still having the same issue every now and then.

Same problem on Sonoma 14.3.1 (M3). The firewall settings are completely disabled.
If you have problems logging in as a character, try the following:
Try switching Wi-Fi to mobile Internet and an access point. After that, restart Steam and log in to the game. When it loads, try to log in as a character as quickly as possible before the gateways close - otherwise it may not connect
Once you log in to the game, go to the hideout (I did it this way to reduce lag), then switch to Wi-Fi. Your ping will go up, but this is normal - wait until you are kicked to the main one. As soon as you are kicked, try logging in as a character again, this helped me
