Steam unable to connect to server

changing the language (clicking the flags) at the top worked for me, i was able to change back to original language and have it work. m2 mac air

Same, just wasted 30min trying to logon unsuccessfully. Whenever I manage to logon after a lot of tries the game is stable for me.

Behavior:
Start PoE client, directly logon, select char, crash to either logon with "Unable to connect" which persists then until client restart, or in some cases the whole client crashes.
Or start PoE client, wait a while, and I get "Unable to connect" error.

That's been the behavior since start of Settlers.

I was able to connect to the login server after enabling App Management for the PathOfExileClient, similar to the solution in a thread on the Steam update failing to install (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3333103).

Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security, choose App Management. Click the + and add the PathOfExileClient, which is likely located in ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Path of Exile or wherever Steam downloads are located (tip press Command+Shift+G and paste the path in the file dialog to jump to the directory).

Edit: Yeah, looks like this wasn't the fix. Happened again to me the next day. Looks like it's pretty random. Was able to login after a few minutes of trying.

I found the only solution that worked for me - try to enter the game via mobile data and hotspot and change to Wi-Fi while in the game. After that, I was thrown into the main menu and connected to the character without problems

I don't understand, can't the developers find the problem because of which the client on Mac just crashes?
After the latest patch, I still see how in the gateways section after a few seconds they all crash, and a question mark is shown in the ping column

Same here. Started out happening once or twice and then launching fine, but now it won't work at all. Absolutely ridiculous.

Same here. Immediate "Unable to connect to login server" on clicking login. Has been true since the 3.25 patch. Please fix!!

I'm also having this issue via Steam on a Mac M3. Very frustrating - this needs a server side fix for sure as I don't have this issue with any other applications or games.

Have GGG made any statement on this yet, even to say, "We're working on it"? Last night, I spent an hour trying to log in before finally getting in.

Any update? Looks like league may be ending before it started unfortunately
