Loading screen freeze

Hello, since the latest patch i have been having this technical issue which i cannot resolve. It happens both with steam version of the game and standalone client. No matter screen mode or resolution, the game usually dies during loading screen, By dying i mean it freezes, tho i can still hear the music, while gear animation stops. Sometimes it happens during combat too. PoE window just becomes unresponsive and my only option is to force close the game. Sometimes it takes me around 5 tries to even log in on my charaters

" I'm assuming you're on Vulkan. Do you get any VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST crashes? If yes, then switch to DX12 or DX11. Your Nvidia driver 556.12 isn't doing anything special for you with that video card and might actually be part of your issue. As I've recommended in many threads I think you should try rolling back to an older Nvidia driver. The most recent thread post where the recommendation seems to have fixed this player's issue. Yeah I'm having the same issue and I'm hoping GGG notices this as a bug. When loading in I crash every time, and by now I'm assuming it's related to the newer graphics drivers. I have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 980M on my gaming laptop and I force it to run my graphics card only. Haven't tried downgrading my drivers. I'm hoping GGG can fix the issue on current drivers and I can be a test subject.

I'm also having same issue due to that problem i just managed to get 15 lvls thats feels like a joke i hope they are working on that problem ?
I tried some things and got some solutions for a while : * I deleted the shad3er cache etc. named like folders from path of exile's documents and then made the game check files then game downloaded about 3 5 GB then i managed to play fine for 3 - 4 hours then crushing came back... * I changed the graphic options to dx12 and due to too much fps drop i couldn't play and also tried vulkan and vulkan was fine but with really bad graphic quality i didn't wanted to play much ... * At the very end i found that there is some problem with dynamich culling and dynamic resolotion if you close them at dx11 or vulcan you can play better without much crushes but still crashes come back sometimes... Well... i was playing that game fo all theese leagues i didn't play it for 4 - 5 leagues and idk when started but seems like after some point their game started to take all the cpu %100 then shuts down i hope they are searching for that cpu sucker error and solve it, i am really sad right now i really wanted to played that league =( and i couldn't find opening a direct ticket about that problem so im double sad right now =( GGG search and solve it please we love that game don't make us so sad =( |
