Since POE2 will be cross progression/play, and GGG previously stated that MTX purchased on POE will be transferred to POE2 (if it is supported and in game on POE2), does that mean our MTX purchases between console and PC versions will be merged once POE2 comes out? That. Would. Be. A. Miracle.

It has to work that way.

Consider you're playing on PC, where you've got your million stash tabs. Then you head over to Console. If you didn't have access to those stash tabs, that wouldn't make sense. The MTX must be shared across the account, regardless of the console/pc version you're playing on.
