Crashing to desktop repeatedly

crashing too; happens in town, getting error "Device lost"

Same here. Crashed 3 times in last 24 hours, didn't have a single crash in PoE in like last 2-3 years.

So I decided to try one last thing. Instead of selecting my league character or any others, I created a new SOLO SELF FOUND (SSF) character.

So far - playing this character - I have ZERO issues. What does that mean?

Seems to crash if too many players are displayed.
Very annoying as it crashes every time I go to town!
I would like the option to hide non-party members.

I have been getting the same problem, thinking it has something to do with displaying other players in towns.

i have the same problem when trying to enter Temple of Decay level 2. every time i reinstalled drivers, i restarted pc, i changed servers, i restarter router just in case. but nothing. i play normally in all other maps and when i try to enter temple of decay 2 it just goes to desktop. PLS help???

I'm having the same issue. It happens every time I'm in town with my chest open and adjusting my inventory.

Almost same spec like mine. but i have 4080 and 13700K and crashes all the time. so so disappointed that all i have to do is play D2R and wait for Diablo 4 season 4. its really sad that players can't play their favorite game.

Constant crashing sometimes even before game launches on two different computers with 2 different sets of hardware.

64gigs ram

3080ti
ryzen 7
16 gigs ram



Started season on new computer 1 build constant crashing while just selecting character to load sometimes 3-4 attempts to get in. General poor performance.

Switched back to computer 2 which ran previous seasons just fine. getting sub 50fps on 3080ti on lowest settings. Then constant crashing just loading game cant even get to menu.

Sometimes nothing in event logs.


Upgrade GPU Driver
Downgraded GPU Driver
Installed Win11
Installed Win10
Reinstalled POE multiple times
Tried two different computers
Tried Dx11, Dx12, Vulkan
Different monitors, different resolutions

Same.

Sometimes I get 5 min and other times 30 seconds before crash.

Never had this problem before.
