[Xbox] Status of 3.23.1 patch for Xbox (coming later this week)

For the first tine since I've played the game in over a year the lag is incredible, making the game unplayable. Screen freezes even if I put the filter on uber strict and I'm not running crazy content. I am currently on the Texas realm, is there a way to fix this or does the patch help with this brand new lage i'm experiencing?
