Long load screens shader maxing out permanently and can't resolve.

Same for me, loading towns takes literally 5 minutes sometimes, people keep getting mad at me for taking 2 minutes to load their hideout for a trade.
Game has no problem loading the absolute cringe annoying little bastard goblins and their random snippets of immersion-breaking crappy music, though. Even while I wait a ridiculous amount of time for the game to load everyone's obnoxious cringe MTXs that I don't need to see and GGG doesn't need me to see because I'm just one of those people who would never in a million years even consider spending money on any of them, I can still hear your stupid fking goblins.

Sharing this in case it helps someone.

I started getting the same issue on league start, never experienced this problem before - F1 shader bar always full and insane loading times.

System: i7 12700K @5GHz, RTX 3070Ti, 32GB DDR4 @3600MHz, Win10 64 (latest update), Nvidia Drivers 581.57 (latest), Shader Cache size 10GB

I couldn't set the shader cache to 100GB because my Windows SSD is only 240GB, games are installed on a different SSD.

After a fresh game install and updating drivers I tried changing ingame graphic settings, trying different game renderer etc. The thing that actually helped is turning off the Global Illumination completely (and possibly setting other shadows to lower quality).


I am now back to reasonable loading times, will update if there's more problems and hope GGG can fix this.

Hi i did all these stuff and the only thing that helped me was this:

Windows -> System -> Display -> Graphics -> Custom
check if PoE is listed if not add the .EXE and set to High Performance.

Let me know if it works :)

it doesnt help, nothing does. its on GGG's end. this is unbearable, even hideout is 2-3 min loads

I've found this actually never makes any difference in any game. Behold how it continues making no difference.
