Application hang - POE not responding

i tried different things from updating my whole system, downgrading the game's resourses used , to downright REINSTALLING MY OWN OPERATING SYSTEM! updated all drivers again, put the game in perfect situation... it lets me login, then after 1-2 maps, it crashes and i have to restart the pc for it to work again. the crash basically is always 'not responding' and it happens in 15 min intervals, so yea, not a good look... i think we just have to wait for a fix from the devs at this point... i really wanted to play :'( havent played in sooo long
Had those problems too. Switching to DirectX12 seems to fix it.

Problem solved by this method, too.
Hello! I have exactly the same problem as the person who wrote to you. I tried everything, nothing helps, please solve this problem!
Unable to stay in rogue harbour for more than a few seconds during peak play times without this happening. I have to prepare contracts in the hideout then run to the chick to open them and hope i dont crash on the way in order to run my fav mechanic. Not experiencing crashes anywhere else. If there are a ton of people idling with insane MTX i know im gonna crash.

7800x3d/4060/32gb Gfx & win11 drivers all uptodate. No hardware errors in system log. This is a PoE problem. Playing on 4k screen using 1080p render resolution with all other settings on lowest with DX11 (DX12 & vulkan barely able to keep 60fps in maps on a 4060).

Same issue - game crashes on Loading screen (pathofexilesteam.exe is not responding). Been playing on this laptop since 2021, never had this issue until 3.25 now it crashes on the first loading screen every time.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU, Geforce 1650 GTX, 16GB ram, Windows 10 H2, DirectX 12.

I've always played on lowest graphic settings on this machine, performance has been getting worse over time (understandably, hardware getting older and game is getting newer) but it has always been playable especially for leveling. I don't even try to do deli maps or anything graphically intensive.

But as of 3.25 I can't get past the first loading screen to Karui shores.

I tried various recommendations from forums with graphics settings, and eventually uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Also updated Nvidia drivers. All had no effect.

If this hardware is now insufficient to run the game, please let me/us know. Otherwise this is unbelievably frustrating.

So i have a laptop with almost the same specs, i was trying differents recommendations and the one tha worked for me it's been to use directx12 (selecting from the in game options cause directx11 is selected by default) and i've been playing normally (around 3 hours)
Hello,

I have found a solution.

I had the same problem as you, and I have tried everithing out in the end it was the DirectX settings. My settings were x11 and since I have switched to directX12 I have no not responding issues anymore :D
Same problem here.
