Unable to login, Not connected to Steam

Logged in here to see this thread. Same for me, nothing helps - restarting game, steam, changing download region - it's all the same

Same issue. Also I have been crashing frequently today despite being fine yesterday. Could this simply be a patch going out in response to a bad attempt to do a non-restart patch???
