Running with a 4070 super and i713700k, and I think I've found a possible fix! I was getting tons of random crashes, usually straight to desktop without fanfare and sometimes with a brief error message from vulkan.
Noticed that the crashes were remarkably similar to ones i was getting in RDR2 (also using vulkan there!) and so i dug around and found a fix to increase pagefile size and i've had ZERO crashes in POE since the change! I followed this guide (https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/red-dead-redemption-2-out-of-virtual-memory-error/) but any guide to manually set your pagefile size would work. Using the pagefile change + vulkan engine in POE I basically went from crashing 5 times trying to run a simulacrum before giving up, making it to wave 3 overall, to running up to wave 19 without a single crash! Not to mention multiple t16 delrious maps without any crashes either. | |

same here had to uninstall it keeps crashing since 5 months on startup

I was having game crashes constantly, sometimes 5+ times per hour. But it was all fixed by simply capping the frame rate in the options to 120(without cap i had between 300-500fps)
Over 100h played now without any crashes. RTX 4080 i5 13600k @ 5.2ghz 32gb ddr4 @ 3200 Using dx12 and all settings low. | |

so many people are having this issue but it's on the player to adjust the CPU so the game won't crash because of newer Intel CPUs? Sounds like a weird thing to put on the player. It should def be on the devs to fix this problem. Cant get past Piety The Abomination, I tried 3 times now and it still just crashes to desktop. Limited my FPS to 60 so I at least could get past the boss room but after that, same thing.
Im not going to adjust my CPU settings when it works fine on literally everything else on my computer. Devs fix? |

" Literally no other programs on my computer has any problems or had any of these problems ever. Started to play PoE 2 days ago and it crashes more often the further into the campaign it gets. This is a dev problem no matter how you put it. |
