3.25 - This problem still persists. The workaround that works for me is to keep my CPU somewhat busy. I always open 2 twitch streams and allocate them to different CPU cores. If I'm not doing that the game feels unplayable.

Experiencing this MT stuttering issue in PoE2. Occupying my CPU with the pixels fighting website alleviated the issue to a playable level for me. What a dumb solution.

So turns out, you can have a power plan with disabled c states,
and not have your CPU melt! On windows you can use the power plan settings, on top of the created power plan with c-states disabled, to reduce Minimum/Maximum Processor State! Set both to 90% or below and you will have both a working game, and low temperature. |
