All Characters Gone After Steam Link

I'm having the same problem. I've been playing POE for several years on Steam, 2500 hours. When I last logged in to the site, to check the link with Twitch, it told me to link to a path of exile account, as if I had never linked it. By doing this, when logging into Steam, it's as if I had created a new account - I lost my characters and, worst of all, the Tabs I purchased. I wanted to start in this new league.. I contacted support, they asked some questions, but they took a long time to respond... so far I haven't been able to recover anything.

Also same problem. This shouldn't be possible and don't understand why its not fixed. I hand to link so i could use a loot filter and lost everything. Haven't played in a couple years but really like the new changes but not sure if I'm going to bother playing because of this. Really hope it doesn't take to long for them to get back to me through email.

if you want to add item filter, you just need to login instead of create new account and merge accounts (and override the wrong one)
