[3.22] WinterOrb CwC Lightning Warp Occulist, UPDATED for 3.22

So, I noticed we had a lot of empty gem sockets, I'm running enlighten with hatred, herald of ice and artic armour on helm, and also added a defiance banner with the remaining mana for more evasion. I feel like this helped a lot with tankiness problems.

Casual player here :) Just started the league a week ago and I'm not too satisfied with my starter and I'm looking for something fun and relatively cheap. So is the build even worth trying without cluster jewels?

PS: Ok I didn't know about Ralakesh boots being reworked and it's price XD

does anyone have any recommanded atlas passive tree?

looking at the pricing history, it just went up a lot after the new year. I think a lot of builds are using it now to get the charges. I guess my build isn't that cheap anymore what with the Badge of the Brotherhood amulet also doubled in price as well.

If you want an easy cheap build, maybe try EA elementalist, or if you want less damage but a lot more tanky, EA Jugg is a nice alternative.

What was your started build and what made you not satisfy with it ?

what about using lightning / fire golem inside malachai's ring?
wont we get huge resistances reduction on bosses that way?

As usual I started with glacial hammer but version based on one tapping mobs so it's lacking in attack speed department and it's slow in maps as hell but survi is good comparing it to berserk version which I regreting not starting with :( Nowdays I'm not playing much = lack of currency to build fun builds. I always loved triggering skills like discharge mjolner(nerfed), variety of coc builds like mathil's coc spraying with ST :) These were realatively cheap to build a functional fun char to start with. Now I've got a feeling that u need tons of currency to make smth effective like build in this thread.

Hey I know the glove gives tons of damage + add proj but is there any way to play without it? I cant interact with anything because it will cancel wo and I need to w8 for 4sec which feels really long on fast build like this. This build still feels so amazing even with that annoyance tho.

yeah, that 4 sec wait is the biggest annoyance (besides the charge lose sound) for this build. But I don't think you can do it without the glove as it is the thing that gives us the damage we need since we gave up 2 gem links for CwC and LWP. I guess you can try to build it on a six link in the chest and use some other glove that gives you damage like maybe a surgebinder ?

I feel you man. My past leagues I can only have a few builds due to lack of currency and no time to grind (full time working parent). But this was my luckiest league where I found a 40Div +1 max power charge synth ring in ritual, which gave me the fund needed to get my char to 100, and time to buy stuff for a new build.

I would suggest that maybe just play a meta character like EA elementalist, or EA jugg that's cheap to gear, but has enough damage for you to run T16 maps and get some currencies. If you can do sanctum (I keep run into the incoming shots even as I try to run away), then that's a consistent money maker if you get the sanctums on T16 maps and can do a full run.
