This story really moved me, such is the power of nostalgia. Very cool to know the stories behind the cards! Thanks for sharing. Really wish I played Synthesis league.

I started playing in Synthesis league. I miss it. Cavas had the Diablo 2 charm. I made my character and met the confused ghost, and immediately got the Deckard Cain vibes. Now I understand the entire PoE lore and story and I get that reintroducing Synthesis will be a heavy task, because of the continuity issues. Elder plotline is gone, Zana as narrator is gone. I really think that Synthesis deserves an actual Synthesis 2.0 league, with new story. It was also very exciting listening to the ExileCon talk about making memory-fade effects and such. Kinda sucks to have it all gone for so long!

Nice! I was fairly clueless as I restarted around synth league but still managed to get some tile wrong and made an abrupt halt to the progress.
