How the build works
Build Mechanics
Expedition items have Ward Ward will absorb the damage done to you If you have 1500 ward, and a monster hits you for 2000, only 500 damage will go to life and your ward will disappear, it breaks Ward will be recharged after 5 seconds Olroth's flask When this flask is on, your ward will not break/disappear The goal is to permanently have Olroth's flask on If Ward is always on, then ward will absorb the damage Permanent Olroth's flask effect So we want to have Olroth's permanently on, to do this we use Brutal Restraint The Traitor https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/The_Traitor_(keystone_passive) Using the traitor keystone and 2 cluster jewels which give us high flask duration, we can get permanent Olroth's effect The traitor keystone works when you have 3 empty flask slots, means you can only use 2 flasks.

Heartbound loop ring explained You summon skeletons, and when skeleton die, the ring will do damage to you Since you are damaged, CWDT will cast spells linked to it The damage each skeleton does is 420, its less than 1500 ward. So you take no damage. If you have 300 ward then you will take 120 damage to life. CWDT gem needs to be level 20 to cast level 20 spell gems For CWDT level 21, you should take about 3580 damage to cast spells We use 3 skeletons and forbidden rite gem to reach self 3580 damage Forbidden rite is a skill that will deal damage to yourself If you cast forbidden rite, it will deal a lot of damage to your life https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Forbidden_Rite As long as your ward is more than the Forbidden rite self damage, you will take no damage to life How to Level up

Increase life to 3626, or Use Divergent Cast When Damage Taken Assuming you have a 420 heartbound ring, and level 11 Skeleton Lets find out how much life required Level 21 CWDT requires 3580 Heartbound 420 does 1260, its 3 skeleton X 420 3580 - 1260 = 2,320 2320 / 0.4 / 1.6 = 3,625 2320 should come from Forbidden rite. 0.4 is Forbidden rite damage, see the gem text 1.6 is -60 chaos resistance So you need at least 3625 life. Forbidden rite should deal 2320 damage to reach 3580 for CWDT 21 The problem with this is, when you ward is 1800 or even 1900, around 300 damage will go to your life pool. And this is really bad for sustain and makes you squishy. We are now in uncharted territory, this can get complicated from here Do all the above upgrades before doing this. Especially the divergent cast when damage taken upgrade. I am not a fan of Level 21 summon skeleton, the reason is, its complicated, because of trigger order, it gets messy. And you will run out of Mana issue with 27% cdr and this causes a lot of frustration Yes you need mana to cast the skills, mana is used when CWDT casts the skill. Make sure you have 6% Mana Recoup on the Ring as well!!! Else mana issue. I keep dying from time to time from a damage over time, is corrupted blood dangerous for this build? ignite? I don't know, health just goes down slowly till i die. I'm level 80 atm so just enough to start, i took all staff nodes except counterweight that is only dps i think, will be my next point. Am i missing something? Character is FreeTheKraken if you can check it

looks like that purity of elements instead of hatred is more safe, i don't die anymore, i also bought a corrupted blood immunity abyss jewel, now it's all a matter of passive points :)

" The cast rate is probably due to gmp support, i have almost the same gear as him, and i have your same cast speed. there's no other explanation about dying, be sure that BEFORE weapon swapping when entering a zone you first of all move, to remove the immunity debuff (when you change zone until you stand still you can't be seen/damaged, it's to protect yourself), then wait like 3 seconds while moving a bit that the 2 flask buffs appear on top of your screen, near your auras. when they appear you can press x 2 times and start the rotation. that's something he had to explain better, but whatever |

This is like a scion version of cwdt ward but on a weird class o.0
Corrupting blood will kill you with this build in most high tier maps You can do reduced flask charge mod as long as you only use 2 flasks (elemental version?) You can do reduced CDR if you remove less duration gem (elemental version?) If you dont run purity of elements i think a lot of random things will make you kill yourself (standing on shocking ground etc) The staff this build is using is way worse then the triple damage staff (but way easier to cap res ;p) Adding on to this from my exp with the elemental version: This build will die and is not immortal This build can do wave 30 simu but not most of the time (ive done it like 6 times out of 300 trys) This build can do 100% t16 dels but you will likely die a couple of times (may just be if your running beyond tho...)
