Even though the gem makes no sense thematically and is going to become one of the most important currency items in the game we all know it's gonna win. I want the unique fishing rod because that sounds fun and different, the scarabs are a bit strange but interesting, and yet I know without a shadow of a doubt the gem is gonna win every single time. :(

The winged scarabs would help the game out a ton. As is, they're really hard to acquire in any significant number, so Gilded Scarabs are almost always more practical to use than Winged.
