[3.19] CoC Ice Nova Build | Occultist | Lake of Kalandra | Path of Exile 3.19
how many curses u apply man? i count 1 and u got the ascendancy for 2

" So first off, Head Hunter is bad for CoC builds. Because we skirt the line for attack speed, HH often puts us over the soft cap and causes us a damage reduction. Since you aren't quite at 100% hit change, switching your Cospri's enchant to the accuracy one might help a bit. Also, don't bother switching to Ice Spear, save up a bit more for Forbidden Rite instead. FR isn't too much more expensive but does a ton more damage and has way better tank thanks to Aegis and Melding. I would sell the HH and use the ex to buy a CDR belt and boots with elevated CDR and Tailwind (or level 6 Awakened CoC instead of the belt, but I don't know how pricey that is right now). This should get you over the 52% CDR mark and let you get some more attack speed for more damage, plus you can use the boots and belt with FR later on. A small change I would make is on the lower left part of the tree, remove the point from charge duration and put it in +devotion for a little boost.
" He has 2, Frostbite from the ring and Assassin's Mark.
Can someone please help with my militant faith jewel? I found one with 2 of the 3 mods mentioned for 2 ex and bought it.
However it has turned my Faith and Steel node into 'Thoughts and prayers', which presumably is inferior. Has this got to do with the 'number' on the jewel? If i use a divine orb on it, will it get rid of the ele damage and area damage nodes? Please advise, my profile is public if you want to take a look. Many thanks!
is there a way to make this build work with Profane bloom ascendancy?
| |
" It'll keep the ele and area, but will change both the number and warrior so you'll have to keep rerolling until Dominus shows up again. " Use a Forbidden Flame and Flesh. I bought them for Frigid Wake since it was the cheapest, then you can respec into Profane Bloom.
Thanks for that, I rerolled it and have what I need now.
Another question, I ended up picking up an onslaught on kill cospri's for the attack speed and movement speed, I thought it would be a good option. When I tick onslaught in config, it makes no difference to my damage, any ideas why? I wanted to see if it caused a damage decrease if i went over a COC threshold or something. Should i get the crit multi cospri instead?
" Dunno why it's doing that in PoB, but you don't want Onslaught on kill for CoC builds. Not only can it make you go over the threshold, but since it's on kill it won't activate during boss fights. Onslaught on hit can useful if you plan for it since that version will proc on bosses.
hi. I have question about boots. I can't find with aspect of spider and with scorched ground while moving. What it more priority with this build?
|
|
" You want Brittle Ground, not scorched. Look instead for non-influenced boots and put Brittle ground on yourself via Eldritch currency. Also, check the Bestiary if you have the Aspect of the Spider craft unlocked, and if you do you can get boots with an open suffix and put AotS on yourself. |
