Would it be possible to fade some parts of the Church Ruins in Fell Shrine out as you walk behind them?
50% of the time I walk through that thing I get attacked from somewhere but I can't see anything because of the High walls. “Demons run when a good man goes to war"

Hi,
Firstly, I really love the game and appreciate and respect the hard work put into it. I'm short-sighted and also enjoy the wonders of astigmatism, which basically means it's harder for me to focus an image. It's not even that uncommon, so I imagine there must be other suffering. Whenever I go into a cave, dungeon, slum, all hell breaks loose because I almost always am literally blinded (desync also favours this a lot). The light around the character does more bad than good, because there's a constant change on my screen between darkness and light, and therefore my eyes can't make it. In other games I've played, once you cleared a part of a dark area it remained nice and bright. I get it that maybe it's part of the game to keep the mystery alive, but I was wondering if you could maybe add something in the game's options or something to allow choosing and changing that. Also, in completely dark areas, like Fellshrine Ruins (and when the Shadow of the Vaal covers act 2), I almost never can distinguish visually between the surroundings and what I have to kill. I think that maybe tweaking the shades a little bit would help a lot. If you ever consider doing these changes, please ask a person with some kind of eye problems to help. :) P.S. Please don't tell me to change my computer's settings or any other kind of game settings. I have tried them all - it doesn't get any better.
I tried finding a thread with this already in it, but it's hard to sort though it all.
I notice when I hit the Vaal Constructs with Ice or Voidbearers with ice and lightning, they have some sort of weird color box on their heads. I see it whenever it actually inflicts the 'chilled/frozen' or 'shocked' status. If I knew how to include images from my computer, I'd put some screenshots I caught.
Hello GGG art team!:)
I love this game. I don't have any complaints & I'm not brown nosing when I say that. I do have a suggestion. So many years from now, GGG plans to add the opposite gender for each class with accompanying animations. Is it possible that in the next few months? we could get micro-transaction that allow us to alter skin/hair color palette on our characters? Is the game art designed in a way that one could alter the Marauder's hair/skin color without having to create all new animations to accommodate the new hair/skin colors? This is by no means a deal breaker. If it can't be done in the short term, then it can't be done. I just thought I'd pose the question to the team. Great day:)
Nice job on the "incremental" art effects. Loving the way Pools and Streams is looking, these days. Too bad most folks won't go back after the light is restored, because it's really now one'a the prettiest areas in the game... In the daylight. =^[.]^=

" That's very true, finally remembered to go an have a look today. Shame it doesn't get seen more in anything other than darkness. Regarding pools and streams and its location (I'm sure this must have been asked before, but I had no joy with the search) and this has bugged me for a while. I can never work out how its location in the world fits with the "3 groups of bandits raiding the settlement and forest etc" when the only way there is via the unopened overgrown ruins and then break the seal. So how did Oak get there in the first place, and how does he raid anyone from there. Even with thee waypoint Oak would have had to get there somehow in the first place to find the waypoint, no black sky, so he didn't break the seal. It's just the one part/area in the game storyline that seems out of place to me. I wonder why pools and streams is not linked to one of the other forest areas and either have the ruins lead straight into waterfall cave, or into pools and streams as it does now, but the entrance to waterfall cave opens only when the seal in the ruins is broken, or just have Oak somewhere else that can be got to before breaking the seal etc. Maybe I'm just thinking about it too much... who knows ;-) Last edited by Jaknet on Apr 8, 2013, 7:26:46 AM
