Good question, milkdazombie!

It's cause I ran out of gem space. I used to have that skill with Spectres. I find that Clarity also does the same thing, though not to the same extent. But I was happy with the switch because of the value Clarity provides to our CwDT gems. That, and I find that my minions always have full charges (cause I use the spectres that give charges) without Lifetap.

For future reference, the Ascendancy info is in the Passive Tree section, just under the Mastery List and Passive Tree picture. It's easy to miss.

time for a short feedback:
Lvl 90 and for the first time red maps with bonus objective completed. Thx to you and your genius build.
Found a +1 specs chest in the mines (necromancers excavation) and 5 linked it.
I use shield charge and enfeeble to run around and through mobs or ahead of the crawler in delve.
Since the minions do all the work, I had my hands free to fiddle around with self-cast stormbrand.
Meanwhile I replaced the void sphere combo with manual stormbrand+summon phantas+blind+stun. Doesn´t look bad so far.
Your build is really fun to play. Thanks again for your effort. Stay safe.

Hey PALLYDYN!

I set my tree up for content I like, no matter what the rewards are. I love Rogue Exiles and Abyss. I find them really really fun. I also quite like the strong boxes and Torment. But I'm having a tough time excluding Harbinger. It's so good for shards...which really add up.

But you honestly can't go wrong with any choice you make. It's total preference.(My preferences sometimes kick the crap out of me ;).)

Hey Wrecker! Thanks for the guide, I managed to get to 89, got lots of HP (5.2k currently with 1.5k shields). All with maxed out resistances, so fairly chill gameplay.

I got one question though. Where did you get the enchant on your armor? Is that a craftbench enchant? Talking about "Quality does not increase Defences Grants +1 to Maximum Life per 2% Quality"

You know...that new implicit is new. I wasn't aiming for it. I don't even remember getting it. It's new. I'd rather have armour. That implicit makes sense if you're getting way more than 20% quality. I would have guessed that it was one of the new Eldritch implicits...but the chest doesn't have any icon on it. So it must have come from Harvest.

Sorry! I don't remember. I'll be changing it to something more appropriate as I play more though. Elden Ring has kind of taken up the spare time I have these days.

Hey, renasma!

I think your most valuable expense starting off would be an uncorrupted 6-link. It'll let you play with a whole bunch of ideas if you feel like changing things up. Get an AR/ES base. You also can't go wrong with a Wand with + to Minion or Spell gems. (Spell gems increase our minion gem levels too.) An Aumlet with + to minion and/spells is nice too...but they are likely over 1Ex...well, they were. Everything else is easy to find. You don't need the items I mentioned, they're just harder to find. I don't have any + to my minions. So it's just a bonus.
