Yeah on the res and attribute side of things, I generally don't bother with adding it in the theoretical part, as it is something that will have to be solved one way or the other.

Which part do you dread?

Skill choice?

Tree?

Gearing?

For skill I will start with Armageddon Brand (lvl 28, so Fireball before), now this might be poop. So what I will then do is go back to Fireball, and then maybe Flame Surge. This build will be very flexible to lvl, as we only need to focus on the generic damage in the start, which brings me to the tree.

Priority stats:

Energy Shield
%Increased fire damage
%Fire damage over time multiplier
%Ignites you inflict deal damage % faster

Get a good mix of these and try to path in the direction of your keystones as you go.

Early gearing will just be trying to get ES and res on any gear possible, and doing the vendor recipe for 1+ fire gems to a wand.

I think this answers my questions, and I'll probably start like this.

I was considering something like this but I stopped when I remembered Detonate Dead only blows up one corpse at a time. So yes, the highest ignite will be doing damage, but you would have to cast Detonate Dead repeatedly and the corpse you get is random.

You can get an addionnal 20% corpse hp in the undertaker passive cluster, brings the corpse hp to 106760.

I can't see the Leveling Tree, is the URL correct?

Vaal detonate dead is easy uptime, and you can use spell cascade if it is a problem!
