Thank you all for always being so kind and compassionate to everyone in these threads. It really makes these places a safe place to throw ideas and questions around. It also plants seeds of kindness, patience, etc. in people's hearts that they carry to other parts of their life.

Please take care and keep safe I know what you are going through as I lost my home to floods 3 years ago. Stay safe and my friend I love your positive attitude.

Forgive me if this has been addressed but under the Spectre section of your gem list you wrote "Spectres don't have a duration (like zombies) and are amazing." and since zombies don't have a duration I was wondering what you meant? Skeletons I'm assuming but wanted to point that out and find out for sure.

I'm glad you're liking it, praklatye! HC! You crazy monkey ;). Let me know what changes you make to accommodate HC. I don't play HC myself but I still hate dying.

I'll look at the wording of that section. The duration comment wasn't meant as a comparison to Zombies. It was just stating the fact generally. So I didn't mean anything by it beyond that. I'll look at rewording it. Sorry for the confusion.

Hey Dioktis! Flasks are the more personal part of PoE. They are the easiest part of a build to accomodate personal playstyle.

I personally prefer a "hands-free" flask situation. So Instilling Orbs are amazing for me. Eventually, I'll have one Divine life flask a Ruby flask, a Saphire, Topaz, and Amethyst. The four utility flasks will auto-trigger when I have their respective ailment applied to me. And they'll be modded to remove that ailment. So for example, The Ruby Flask will trigger when I start taking burning damage and will make me immune to burning damage for a duration.

Does that make sense?

I'm sorry you have experienced flooding. It's rough. We're all good. We're healthy and safe. We just lost a good portion of our house and possessions. So just material things were lost which is good.

Reached level 90 following your guide, so thought I should drop by to give thanks. The build has performed as advertised and provided a relaxing SSF game. I basically just steer my character avoiding enemies and leave the minions to do the rest.

Currently I have 8 zombies, 4 specters and 2 golems. Hard to tell, but I suspect the specters are doing the most damage.

I have found a few periods I have been underpowered, but a couple of upgrades has got me through each time. Currently having a problem with the 12th watchstone - bloody Drox! But plenty of ways to upgrade - still only on a 5L, most gems have not been upgraded yet and I only have one relevant Lab upgrade so far (+40% Specter damage on the helmet).

Happy to recommend this build to others.

Sorry bro I did not see your post until tonight.

Family is all OK Thx for asking. Our home is high up so the water passes us by. A whole lot of British Columbia has been hit very hard and I hear there's more to come sadly.

On a more positive note I'm still rockin' your build. Got Vaal skellies worked in there with the Dead Reckoning Jewel. Ton of fun and very stress free. Finally getting the red maps to drop so got the progress wheels moving again.

I've recently tried several other builds as I've played the game off and on over the years and have some 70+ toons to work with that had full respecs coming.

This has been by far the most successful only issue is the lag. Lots of on-screen action.

1) Sorry to hear about the flooding. Hope the recovery is going okay.

2) Thank you for the awesome guides. This is my third league using them as my base in SSF and I'm loving it. Very accessible to a new player.

3) Currently doing Zombies and am curious what you (or anyone else) thinks about Montreguls Grasp? I'm at 88 and see it causing most of the zombie kills via explosion, but it might be leaving me more vulnerable due to less bodies (and I'm currently dying a fair amount especially on scourge and the like).

4) any tips on how to calculate or compare damage for minions? POB gave me really low numbers when I loaded it there.
