why not add some more extra passive points on tree? like from quest or from lvls or somehow else?

You are correct that resident architects already control the room. Which is why we kill the non-resident architect if we want to upgrade a room so the resident is safe in their home once more :)

Omg, you're right. It's about preserving the right architect, not killing them. I wasn't mentally double-negating. Thanks. I always just look at the temple map and go "right-most = same" without realizing that's a different architect each time.
