Your claw definitely needs an upgrade it is really bad for yellow maps.
Claws are pretty cheap on the market since people are looking for crazy recombinator claws as their end game claw. Look for

T2 Lightning Damage
25% increased attack speed
20% crit chance
Then either flat cold or flat fire damage. OR an open prefix to craft tjos
Generally speaking, how does a regular helm with the lightning strike enchant compare to a blizzards crown without?

I'm guessing it would be better to buy a cheap evasion base with the enchant so i can unspec the pierce nodes on the tree (dont have pierce on gloves/helm/boots) and pick up another frenzy charge + a jewel socket for a regular jewel/watchers eye?

I needed increased duration with Immortal Call to stop random one shots in yellow maps, to make up for the lack of Determination

Hello! I've been playing this build as a leaguestarter on a private SSF server and so far it's been going super well. T16 mapping is mostly smooth (with the occasional super tanky multi-essence Sentinel rares) and I have killed endgame bosses without too much hassle as well.

However, up to this point I've had some vague idea on how to upgrade and craft my gear but I'm getting to a point where I need to start looking into influenced rares and metacrafting (such as crit chest) and I'm not really sure where to begin or what to try crafting first. I was going to(and still am, though with less hope) farm The Searing Exarch for Crystallized Omniscience but afaik the drop rate has been gutted.

Here is a PoB:

My profile is also public if you want to check my character out that way. Any suggestions are welcome! (But do keep in mind I can't trade :D)
How important is the life gain on hit implicit on claws?

I have a decent claw without it and am wondering if I'm missing out...

I have the "Life and Mana Leech" passive from the tree that leeches 0.4% of attack damage.

Is the 46 lgoh from imperial claw negligible here compared to my dps's 0.4% leech, or does it apply instantly or something like that? Not too familiar with leech/lgoh mechanics.

You can drop culling from AP setup, you get this with the marked node. Maybe throw totem life or lifetap in its spot (i think it was armor based, but if evasion not gonna get 4 red anytime soon) doubled checked your gear, grats on 4 red dex boots, that's hilarious.

From the start of the tree, if you path north instead of south you can save 3 points and finish the north life wheel and evasion/life wheel. I think you'd get a few more percent life total as well as some evasion. Not sure if you intentionally pathed that route for more accuracy, but you can try and add some flat accuracy to gear to compliment precision.

Gear wise I'd look for an armor/evasion base for your chest to do your metacrafting, you can use craft of exile to figure out which base you should be hunting. I think more evasion would help out. But it doesn't sound like you're struggling too hard with survivability atm.

Overall nice job, esp for ssf! good luck

Oh, right! I forgot I swapped to culling from mark. And off-colouring 4-socket items isn't too difficult:
1. Set to 2 (or 3) sockets via bench
2. Craft at least 2 (or 3) red sockets via bench
3. Use jeweller method for the final 1-2 sockets, also bench

I will look into the tree, haven't really given it a once-over in a while so thank you for the reminder.

Yeah, I got the Astral Plate from The Chains That Bind and 6-links are pretty scarce in SSF, especially uncorrupted ones. Currently looking for a Hunter's Exalted to slam on my body armour so that I can force crit on it via Harvest "attack". Evasion is nice but I haven't noticed TOO big a difference in survivability from swapping out gloves and body armour for armour bases.

Edit: Just managed to craft a pretty decent claw... Not finished yet but the Prefixes are quite juicy:

I'd say "life gain on hit" is MANDATORY.

The life recovery from all life leech is capped at a certain speed (default is 20%/sec of your max HP) regardless how high your DPS is, whereas life gain on hit applies an instant life recovery based on your attack speed without a cap.

Instant leech recovery allows face-tanking when you have enough attack speed, and is huge when you hit a big mob pack.

Say, you have 5k life, then your life leech is capped at 1000/sec. This means if you can hit enemies 1000/46=22 times within 1 sec, which is not hard for LS build, then the life gain overwhelms the life leech.

Therefore, life gain on hit is NOT Negligible and in many cases can be better than leech.

Don't forget that GGG removed the instantaneous leech from Vaal Pact node because it was too over-powered.

How are you handling stuns if you're using the Arakaali pantheon?

Energy shield gives you 50% chance and honestly not noticed any issues with stuns even running double damage altar strat
