Communication and the Sacred Orb
You convinced me. Seems fine. We will see how it goes ^^
Another pice of the Puzzle! |

Why?!
Sacred Orb RUINS the whole point of drops being variable. I personally think variable drops is a dumb idea in the first place and is completely unnecessary, but adding an orb to reroll it just makes Vaal Regalia ALWAYS the best choice. I thought the whole point was to sometimes make other ES bases better than Vaal Regalia?! (and this idea carried to Evasion and Armor bases, as well) Either remove the orb or scrap the whole stupid variable defense idea. Implementing a more annoying/rare Blessed Orb is not a good idea. This is the stupidest change to the game I've seen. Randomizing armor base numbers? Then introducing another currency in a game bloated by currency to fix a problem you invented? Why?!
I've joked that, on a long enough timeline, every live-service game will eventually break everything in the game that isn't broken. This is a prime example. |

I know they never will support the SSF ,but i feel like changes like this is even more killing SSF way of play, and there is a good enough number of players that play SSF.

" I will not feed this troll. Other commentators have pointed out how unpopular 3.15 is. I have no idea what planet you're on thinking it was popular. Chris himself said 3.15 saw a large drop in player numbers. Last edited by IcedInferno007#3962 on Oct 12, 2021, 1:01:35 PM

" It's the steam player charts. It's not a full view as it doesn't include people that access the game directly, but it's a large enough sample to be what mathematicians would call statistically significant. As such its a good representation of player numbers and habits. Also, in at least one of the podcasts, Chris himself confirmed a sharp drop of players this league. |

The most negative feedback for all 3 parts of 3.16 balance was about this new base type quality. If you cared about player feedback at all, you would have taken it back. Just make armourer's scraps more rare and you have the same.
You seem to hope that players don't realize that there are other great ARPGs out there which do not suffer from PoE's main problems which, after all the announced changes, still remain unsolved: - No balance of the numbers in PvE or PvP (includes being oneshot randomly) - Tons of useless stuff dropping on the floor - Forcing players to do the same campaign every 3 months (PoE 2 will only fix it for 2 or 3 leagues and then it will be the same again) |

Well... next item avalaible only for luckyboys and no-lifers....
Sad... really... is it a solution ? Average player 'll never see this orb |

" --- This is exactly what I am thinking also....just another way for the .000000001% to get another aspirational drop at the expense of everyone else. And don't get me wrong, I think aspirational drops are great and needed...but come on GGG just add in some new stuff and not weave it in to a core mechanic which makes it a nerf to everyone else. |
