SRS Bomber / Popcorn SRS
ABOUT  This is a fun minion build that kills with satisfying pops. The focus is on survivability and clearing large packs of monsters. The main downside of the build is the delay between casting and doing damage. This guide is for a league starter that will get you through the story and into early mapping. You can even do red tier mapping with low cost gear. However, you will need one unique item for maximum efficiency, but the build will still work without it.  MINION INSTABILITY The SRS Bomber is built around Minion Instability, which makes minions explode when they reach low life. We can scale the explosion with both minion life and damage. The Tavukai unique amulet deals damage over time to the SRS. So, after a few seconds, they will trigger Minion Instability. Gearing

Gear, Gems & Links, Flasks
GENERAL Here is an overview of the gear, including gems, links and examples. Overall, the priority is to get the highest life mod on all items. You can self-craft this using Essence of Greed. Also make sure you have 75% elemental resistance, and positive chaos resistance. HELMET For the helmet, I recommend reservation efficiency and cast speed. You can also try to get +2 to all minion gems. The gems are: Raise Spectre, Feeding Frenzy, Greater Multiple Projectiles and Maim. For the spectres, I recommend Miserly Poacher from Heist. You can get them from the Smuggler’s Den or Underbelly. BODY For the body armour, I recommend chance to block attacks and increased offering effect. Use an Essence of Fear to craft increased minion life. The gems are: Summon Raging Spirit, Unleash, Minion Life, Combustion, Elemental Army and Ignite Proliferation. Ignite Proliferation will help burn any monsters that aren’t hit in the explosion. You can swap the gem to Concentrate Effect if you need more single target damage for bosses. GLOVES For the gloves, the most useful implicit is increased minion damage. You can craft Minion Damage with an Essence of Fear. The gems are: Flammability, Blasphemy, Increased Area of Effect and Tempest Shield. If you want more damage, you can replace Blasphemy with Skitterbots, but you’ll need to self-cast Flammability. BOOTS For the boots, I recommend avoid being poisoned and Scorched Ground. The gems are: Stone Golem, Animate Guardian, Meat Shield and Determination. The Animate Guardian is completely optional and can be replace with zombies. WEAPON Look for a want with minion damage or +1 to all spells or +1 to minion spells. The gems: Desecrate, Flesh Offering and Life Tap. SHIELD For your shield, look for +1 to all Fire Spells or +1 to minion gems. The gems are: Molten Shell, Flame Dash and Convocation. Use Convocation to reposition your support minion if they are in danger. AMULET For maximum efficiency, you need the Tavukai unique amulet. Before you get it, you can use any amulet, and replace Elemental Army with Infernal Legion in your SRS links. Anoint the amulet with Testudo for extra attack block. RINGS Use the rings to get as much life and resistance as possible. I recommend crafting “Non-Channelling Skills have -7 to Total Mana Cost”. BELT For the belt, use a Stygian Vise with a ghastly eye jewel. You can craft increased minion life with an Essence of Fear. " When i do all this raw math i do not use pob or any other kinds of programs, just math accourding to patchnote and manifesto changes. This is cuz now poison duration 4 (prev 8) seconds, you will reach full dps much faster, eg 8s (prev are 16s). So in fact spiders, despite all the nerfs, got medium burst dps buff and slight sustain dps nerf (which actually you should see only on bosses). You for sure now MUST take Occultist if you wanna play any kind of poison. If you wanna get some Necro passives it's better to get em thru jewels. any thoughts so far? Wanna wait 2 or 3 days to gather informations what to play, i was into playing some lightning, but then i saw, everyone is playing it so gear should be expensive and i went back to minions i played like 3 or 4 seasons ago, as you can see in my charhistory^^

3.18 Skeleton Mages Necromancer when updated, will need to look at the changes to the tree in particular. (Mana Reservation got hit hard)
also unless tabula prices come down might not be as viable as before for the build. I managed to bump the damage by a few hundred thousand by taking the fearsome force offence node. since recent changes nerfs the predicted dps by close to 500k-800k The New Minion Wands are really nice aswell want to see how the mods of those pan out. These are just things I've noticed while doing the build (wanted to do skele mages this league and none are updated yet) |

mana shortage sucks for sure but skelemages still melt everything but die a lot faster now.
on a side note, i think harvest is at the worst state ever. at least that is my opinion anyway poe is going down fast. Diablo 4 and Baldur's Gate 3 have no performance issues. play them instead

Is the skele mage build still viable? Is alberons warpath an insta slot in for that now?
