Here is my gear, I believe there is some room for improvement when I get some ring with minion damage and a better helmet, but I haven't found any yet at an affordable price. I'm spawning level 28 Skeletons with this.

EDIT: finally managed to clear the simulacrum (used 4 portals) with the gear above, very difficult and I was very unlucky because both bosses spawned in every wave after the 24th. However the mods and the layout were a bit easier than my other attempts. I don't know if it's true, but it seems that the bosses spawned every time only after I used the vaal skeletons, like some sort of vengeance.

I think bosses always spawn in the high waves. Usually both?

Sim is much easier if you have block cap and aegis because of the ES recovery.

I was actually thinking maybe use some proxy shield spectres too. 1x carnage, 1x host, 2x evangelist. link with increased duration.

The layout also makes a big difference!

i am still strugling, 80% deli goes like reasonable speed but 100% seems so hard. also last 5 wawes at simulacrum are most case undoable my current state. What should i do? sell HH and go some upps or chance build? i am playing with wireless connection so minion build suits that well but i also would like to reach hi-eng game. any suggestions?

currently i am trying to make cluster like my current + crit/multi node added since dmg is what i am lacking, tryed to get +1/+2 chest too but no luck so far.

Try without HH. I think it doesn't make a big difference. But you can switch gloves to Breathstealer. The buffs are very good for Sim because you don't move too much.

Cluster won't help that much. +2 body will help though.

I think a big thing for Sim30 is just tankiness to survive it. make sure you have chaos res cap! phasing might help too so you can keep moving.

As soon as I put it on, I removed my old non-corrupted fleshcrafter which has a nice roll and 30% quality plus the life per quality thing, decided to vaal it...and BOOM : +2 duration gems

The game knows when you vaal your main body armour :P

Hello everyone. Much appreciation for this thread and thank you Kay! Would anyone mind to review my gear and make suggestions/upgrade ideas?

I recently swapped to Melding of the Flesh and am trying to figure out mana reservation and work the aura's back in, but I am open to any/all suggestions.

Character name is ArchNem_Angelo. I would link my gear, but I must have been doing it wrong as it wasn't displaying in the preview window.

Thank you!

Please make an 3.18 carrion golem build guide. I remember the build being super fun when it was at it's best then nerfed. I know it's still viable but league almost ending and I want to save it for the start of 3.18. If it can't be a starter I'll probably use the minion army build first to build up currency.

You can league start with Elementalist actually! So you get 4 golems without jewels. Can use the clayshaper to get +1 or +2. Auto resummon is really good too because Carrion Golem is so squishy.

You can combine carrion or stone with explodey AG to get good clear speed too.

Is carrion golem being squishy going to be a problem in any situation? They auto resummon now if they die? So even with early end game with 10-20ex spent on the carrion build whether it's for necromancer or elementalist, carrion golems will still be squishy? Also I could follow your exact pob for necromancer carrion golems except just choose elementalist as the ascendancy?

This league I used Elemancer Forbidden Flesh/Flame (golems are immune to elemental damage), and it was good enough to survive everything. I did not test wave 30 Simulacrum this league, might be an issue due to high mob physical damage.

The only issue with Forbidden Flesh/Flame is that they occupy 2 jewel slots, and they are already corrupted, so it's harder to stack stun/ailment imunities from jewel implicits.

Carrions are only really squishy early game when they're underleveled and not resistance capped.

If you get your Golems to ~40k health and cap their resistances with the 8% max res mastery node they will never pretty much never die.
You do need them to have some sort of regen though. 1 point from Feasting Fiends is usually enough.
So elementalist or necro for carrion golems in end game? I also heard stone golem elementalist is great too so maybe I might play that instead.

Depends on your build.
Generally I would say Necromancer is better.
If you're doing any sort of elemental conversion, Elementalist is better.

The biggest issue with Elementalist isn't that your Golems are squishy. It's that your other minions are squishy. They're missing +2 levels and 30% resistance from Necro masteries which makes Zombies and Spectres drop like flies.

For late endgame, Necro is best if you run a phys damage approach. Elementalist is best if you convert to cold/lightning et.c.

Stone Golems are pepeg, there's no reason to run them.
The benefit of running Stone is that you don't have to run Zombies for the 10 minion count and the regen you get. But their dps is lower, especially their clearspeed. All their damage lies in their slams but it has a pretty hefty cooldown so their autoattacks just deal less damage than Carrion Golems with their combo attack.
