Updated the PoB's, changed some gearing around and a few passive points.

Also finished a couple crafts (weapon/body), added the finished products to that section. If anybody has questions on crafting let me know! I'm not a pro at it but I've done my fair share.

Will be doing A8 awakener and Maven soon.

ES on block is great but a pita to craft and I'm not sure it actually does that much for survivability, as our sustain is already quite good and really the only issue is one shots/dots, not taking multiple hits.

As I think about it more, Shavs+Chayula is probably a good combo if you want a tankier variant of the build, I'm not 100% certain it would be tankier but it seems like it should be in theory. If you want to use that combo though, nothing wrong with doing so! Just note that corrupting blood will need to be lower level in order to be used, or just not linked at all when you have such low life total.

Personally, at least when playing Softcore, I like to err on the side of DPS while maintaining enough tank to die very infrequently, which I've found this build does well. Admittedly though it is somewhat easy to die to a one shot or ground degen while doing end game bosses, so I'll often end up ripping a portal or two in some of the tougher maven fights (i.e. breachlords).

Now that I've crafted my wand and made a few other small upgrades, the build is feeling ridiculously strong.

I've uploaded an A8 awakener kill, took me 3 minutes and was deathless. That's the nice thing about more DPS; the faster you kill these bosses, the less chance you give them to do some BS. Maven soon, and then I'll tackle the Feared.

Also figured out how to craft a really nice ammy for us, will write out the steps once I've done it myself first to make sure it works.

EDIT: just killed Maven (twice) and did The Feared. Died a few times to Maven since I'm rusty on the mechanics, and once in the Feared cuz I'm bad. Overall though I think it'd be easy enough to do both fights deathless with a bit of practice on this build. The damage feels REALLY good, and I'm still not yet fully geared. Missing Bottled Faith, Awakened Brutality, a better ammy, helm enchant, more optimal clusters, levels, etc.

Survivability could be better I suppose, but there is room to improve this in my current gear. But, compared to every other build I've played in Softcore this one has done just as well, and I played Chieftan BFBB last league. I just tend to play like a psycho in Softcore.

I don't want to highjack the thread, just wanted to share that in terms of clear speed, inpuls'a broken heart + storm's gift do wonders, since they apply corrupting fever on explosions, that means you can chain explosions and with chain support it's just insane clear speed. Unfortunately, you need to be elementalist to always shock.

I'm using Viridi's Veil that makes enemies hits unlucky and you take no extra dmg from crits if you have magic ring on left slot. This with golems buffs stacking makes you quite tanky + you can also have leech enchant on boots that gives you this overleech being a ll and reserving less than 50% of your life.

How does this build deal with bleeds? Can't see any staunching flasks in any of the PoBs. Kinda new to PoE so dunno if I'm missing something obvious

Yeah the elementalist version has really good clear speed when geared towards it, but I think it will lack when doing endgame bosses, though I could be wrong.

Once you get corrupting blood immunity on a jewel, a bleed flask is no longer important, as actual raw bleeds are few and far between in this game, and are easily dealt with by standing still for a couple seconds if you notice you have it. On Hardcore this might not be a viable solution, but tbh this build is heavily tuned towards SC and would need a lot of adjustments to make it HC viable anyways, flasks being one of them.

Also, the only time bleeds are actually a PITA is when fighting Atziri, as her spear causes a bleed and you sure as hell don't want to stand still during that fight. But if anybody wants tips on how to kill Uber atziri (I did so myself this league with this build), let me know, it's actually pretty damn easy with the right setup.

You're wrong ;) I got 7mil+ dot dmg from Exsanguinate DoT dmg and 1.2mil+ from hit dmg, then also 1.5mil+ dmg from Corrupting Fever with Storm's Gift so you're missing 30% more dmg here, you can swap rare gloves on bosses like Sirus if you like for this CF 30% more dmg, but it's by all means not necessary.

I did everything up to Sirus A8 so far without breaking a sweat ;)

Fair enough, Elementalist is definitely one of the better ascendancies for Exsanguinate for sure. Sounds like you've got a good build! You should share it, don't think there's one posted here for Elementalist yet.

after failing 2 other exsanguinate builds and 1 other reap build i've started to give this build a shot.. i really want to make one of these new skills work ><

currently lvl 88 and doing red map fairly smoothly. missing quite abit of gear such as the chestpiece and a +2 phys dot mult wand (have a +1 phys dot multi wand) and my other pieces are very meh.

I was wondering if you have any suggestions on how to make this build abit tankier. I know the full build its supposedly quite good already but i am a total potato(i have issues using my mouse arm) and always need to go overboard on defense.

i was considering using a more defensive chestpiece and not go full deeps with your recommended +2 chestpiece. also to drop maim and use vitality. other than that im at a loss.
