You dont have the amulet you need yet for discharge I think. you should stick to leveling gems a little longer, if I'd have to guess

Unequip the body armour and use something else, it reduces your mana (50%!).
Replace Discharge with Armageddon Brand or Flame Wall.
Get jewels with Life and Burning Damage - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Scourge/GoVaWUb
Why would you use a jewel with totem resistance and attack speed for axes? :D

Then farm some currency to get the Amulet and you can use Voll's Protector again.

You need blood magic.
You need nodes with fire damage/ignites
You need life.

If you get REQUIRED items, then you can play with discharge. Until then, stick with IGNITE damage

and READ the guide!

Hey gonna start the league now and I will give ur build a shot. Sounds fun!

Just a short question for the later stages:

Crafting the staff with essence of hysteria. Is there any specific base needed besides ilvl? And would it make sense to keep reforging to get the "+2 To Level of Socketed Firegems" or rather go with what ever u can get.

And I guess you have to 6L it urself when u use the essence?

As mentioned in the thread. I bought the staff as 6L for 2exs. Then used hysterie essenes.

You need +2 fire or fire multiplier. Well, it doesnt matter much anyway, since discharge dmg is just too high.

what pantheon should i pick when starting?
