Most seem to say to respec after you finish the storyline and are about to start maps. I actually pushed several tiers into white maps in the atlas before switching, I was level 72.

I made sure I had a 6L armour - nothing special, it was corrupted with the right socket colours, cost me 20c - a couple sceptres with 80+ mana rolls on each, and a crown of the inward eye. I'd also been leveling the 6 gems for blade blast in my off hand weapon set, so they were about the same level as the stuff I was using to level. Oh, and the Amulet anoint and flasks!

When I switched, I only had BF, BB, and the Arcane Cloak set up. Curse was manual, I didn't use the Cry skills at all.

What else... I did have the essence worm / wrath, and I'd run the first 3 labs. That's all I can think of!

Sure! The lightning trap / toxic rain / whatever leveling is just faster, but there's nothing stopping you from using bladefall as soon as you can fit it.

You dont need to use the vigil jewel you can use an shield with;

Shield Charge + Faster Attacks Support + Fortify Support


and in the place of the vigil jewel you can use Healthy Mind Cobal Jewel and place that one on the top slot of the endgame tree.

The Vigil + Vigilant Strike + General's cry

When you trigger General's Cry, it summons mirage warriors from nearby corpses. These warriors will use the linked skill (vigilant strike) once. Vigilant strike grants them Fortify, and The Vigil grants that Fortify buff to their allies - which is you.

TL,DR: It gives you 8 seconds of Fortify.

pob is okey, but if u link your equipment is better and faster

This build works very well, even in SSF.
Almost everything is explained in POB, and the rest is in first post.
And I'm far from an experienced player, my last char was on Harvest. Even the leveling with lightning traps was a breeze.

Maybe the author should have put a warning on first page, the build is very powerful but not easy to play.
