You use lightning trap not mines, the only three ways I personally tested leveling this build was

1.) Lightning Trap

2.) TR Mines

3.) TR/CA self cast

you could possibly do ele hit, but I would say it's way worse than the alternatives and lightning trap is a lot better than TR Mines / TR/CA. Those are the only three options I really have enough experience on to comment.

You can also do bladefall/blade blast earlier if you so desire. Just don't go archmage until you get 5l / 6l

Thanks for all your answers, i am probably starting with this! Just one more thing I am worried about: how clunky is it to play with all the defences you have mentioned? With the vigil nerf fortify lasts for like 8 seconds now? And enduring cry is selfcast. Sound like playing piano, but maybe I'm wrong and it's smooth in practice.

enduring is optional, not needed especially once you craft minimum endurance charges on your rings and amulet.

As for active buttons fortify, arcane cloak, and sigil of power are really the only other buttons you'll be using outside of bf/bb. It's pretty smooth.

Among the few things I changed, I added in:
- Omeyocan boots for Onslaught/Dodge
- Tried the Unnatural instinct jewel left of scion area, which could be good but then it's harder to squeeze in the Vigil
- Healthy Mind jewel for a big boost in damage/mana at an acceptable life cost
- Since I'd be playing PF I changed the anointment to Aqueous Accelerant
- Thread of Hope under scion to pick up a few skills
- Added in a cluster jewel setup (but can go with to Divine Judgement in the early days of the league)
- Added WoC back in
- Think I can manage perma RF in some cases

I realize you're too busy to manage other people's build ideas, but I figured you'd maybe be interested in having a look, or even could grab a few ideas, who knows :)

This is without optimizing some small things for the raider.

I also would invest into crit rather than stacking more mana with that kind of currency sink but I've yet to fully test the crit version.

If you like PF there's nothing wrong with playing it, but Raider does a better job imo.

edit: In no way am I undercutting you btw, your build theory is very good and it's well put together. Raider imo is especially better on a budget and at the end of the day this build's original intent for me was a sub 40 hour a8 sirus on hcssf. I will continue to update the guide in terms of scaling it for SC though and I actually quite like the idea of healthy mind. It just wasn't a consideration for me because SSF. With some phys to ele taken gear and divine flesh I think you could probably push this build to some pretty ridiculous thresholds.

No worries, I like bouncing ideas and constructive criticism :)

Raider seems like the better (or more optimized) choice, I just like the QoL of having perma flasks and not having to worry about that in long fights. So I tried to find the setup that came closest to what you had in terms of cast speed to keep that smooth gameplay.
