For anyone struggling to 5l/6l and trying to farm BA. If you manage to just run it to 70ish, respec anyway. A 4L BFBB was enough with the tankiness from the respec to run 5-6 tier ultimatums, and with so many mobs, humilities dropped almost 1 per every run or two, just zoom to the ultimatum.

I can hardly believe that. It took me ~80 full BA runs to get my tabby (got almost to level 77)

Hello, I have been enjoying this build so far. I think the set up is quite unique to what I played before. I wonder if you can add a gear section to explain what kind of stats for each gear would be the most desired just so I know where to start with. Thank you for the hard work of putting up this build!!

stat prio is at the top of the guide now

Thank you for the quick update, that is helpful!!
Roughly what level are you all respeccing into Archmage BF/BB? I'm level 65 with lightning traps right now and based on PoB I can respec with close to 4k mana. Is that enough to get started on maps?

I chose this build because it was advertised as being tanky.
But it's the opposite, it does nice dmg and it's squishy lol. T1 ultimatums are mopping the floor with me (lvl 79). On surival ones you can feel it's missing AoE cuz more and more enraged mobs are chasing you, so that's a recipe for disaster.

And what I found after respeccing is that it has a fuckton of buttons and stuff to lookout for (fortify, arcane cloak, vaal grace, conductivity and haven't even touched vaal RF).

Should have started with a slamer as I intented initially. Shame cuz I like the zoomy feeling of the build.

This is where my character is gear wise so far. In red maps bosses (conqs mostly) take like 5-10 seconds, everything else just falls over. A bit over 7k mana and about 4.5k life. 17 deaths currently (by level 90 all my other characters are easily 100+), most of which are just from leveling or heavy lag. Super good build, definitely recommend.
I know its mid game build but I have problems with survi using this. Can someone help me what is wrong? Thanks a lot. Im at act 6 lv 53

Sorry that you're having such a rough time with the build but it's entirely on you for not reading the guide more thoroughly. You're not running 20% qual flasks and you have ample on your basalt instead of chemist's, you don't have enough mana on gear and you're missing literally one of the most important things listed in the guide which is a mind drinker anointment. This restores 2% mana per kill which is absurd and is what makes sure your mana isn't at 10% when you do take a hit. You're not running a shield and you haven't allocated agnostic. Doesn't help that your weapons are both incredibly wrong with low mana rolls and a +1 to lightning.

It's not subjective if the build is tanky or not, it is tanky and offers ridiculous EHP with one of the highest max hits taken a right side tree build can offer this is also seen within the PoB under calcs. I'm perfectly fine with taking criticisms on the build but not when you're not even playing the same build as everyone else.

Hello!

I just finished the Acts, still need to do some of the Skill Point sidequests, and Trial areas for Ascension Points.
I'm on a ~60c budget.
How do I make the transition from the trap build to the BF/BB stuff?
