The only archmage builds I've played were storm brand when it first came out, and blade vortex indigon last league, both of which just cheesed it instead of actually casting spells, so maybe I'm underestimating the expenditure of actually hardcasting with archmage.

I don't have mana problems at all really unless I turn on RF. With Arcane Cloak I was around 1.7K mana regen with about 8K mana. With potion running it is a bit more. With Battle Rouse part of that is being recouped anyhow. In most boss fights you have to reposition anyhow. If I sit there and spam BF/BB I can go OOM still even running a potion but it is like after 6-8 seconds I think. If I move at all or barely slow down my casting I am back to full mana again.

that %mana on kill is almost critical when mapping and in ultimatums

For comparison, in my setup, Mana Flows boosts my regen by 150/s.

2% of mana on kill is 165 mana recovered instantly *for each critter* I kill. That outstrips Mana Flows at one critter, and mapping I kill a lot more than one critter per second.

Where are you socketing your clarity gem? in the PoB it's active but there's no actual room in the skill setup

you can replace one of the "Optional" gems in the weapon with Clarity.

Gloves seem alright to me. For damage they are better than mine by far. I would personally use culling strike with that bladefall setup over conc effect even for bosses. Conc effect nice for boss overlap but sucks for mapping. I also find I really have no need for the quicksilver flask on this build. Hence why I dropped it for a wise oak for more damage and survivability. Although I need to mess with my resistances a bit more to get it back to where it was for wiseoak.

Also not sure why you are using that crafting enchant on your boots. We don't get chilled as a Raider so the movement + cannot be chilled craft I would switch out to just pure movement. Those would be just a couple of quick things I think you could do in 5 minutes for a bit of a boost.

How well could you play this build on Scion rather than raider? I’m currently trying it and it’s pretty good dmg wise, clearing t16s and a8 sirus no problem. But my defenses and speed are pretty clearly lacking compared to raider. Currently using Pathfinder + Hierophant, any ideas on what I could change to make it better or should I just level a raider instead lol? Basically have all core items besides a wrath watchers eye
