[3.21] Cold Conversion Summoner | Build guides for all budgets | (Ghazzy Zoomancer)
" Thank you! :-) When I'm looking through your character the biggest problem is that your tree and clusters don't seem to have been updated. Your still running a low budget skill tree. I can see that you're also running a large cluster without any mediums and only 1 socket slot. This is absolutely a waste of points. When it comes to clusters, our goal is to fit as many MEDIUM clusters in the build as possible. All the damage comes from the medium clusters. The large clusters only acts as a vessel to fit as many mediums as we can. That's why we want a large with Vicious Bite, Renewal and Rotten Claws/Raze and Pillage. (Both Rotten claws and raze and pillage allows us to specc 5 points instead of 7). If you were to fit two cluster sets into the build it would literally more than double your dps. That's more scaling that you get from any upgrade in gear piece, ever. Except for a mirror tier helms/shield ofc. When it comes to defensives, you've already invested into a +1 chest and +2 amulet. I would actually advise you to, maybe go back to using a Skin of the Lords. The best option is to get one with Phase Acrobatics like mine. (If you can't find a good one with Phase Acrobatics, Glancing Blows also works good) For colors anything with atleast 2 green and 2 blue minimum works. Depending on the colors you get, you might have to change your support gems but we have many options. The reason why you want a Skin chest is because of the 100% global defense modifier as it doubles the amount of Armour/Evasion you get from your flasks. As for your current chest, you can save it for the future. A +1 chest only really works when your dps starts entering the absurd territory and everything gets oneshot. Due to the state of the game, you also really want a Headhunter when you're going the glass cannon route as it solves all defensive problems pretty much. Once you've acquired a Skin of The Lords chest, you absolutely NEED to update your skill tree to get Glancing Blows and the block wheel. The Medium budget PoBs have been updated so you can watch them how to do respecc. You can also check my current skill points to see what I've done. Changing Body Armour and getting Glancing Blows + Block nodes close to it will allow you to add 30% spell dodge, 55% attack block, 40% spell block, ~70% phys dmg mitigation and ~40% Evasion to the build which helps alot with survivability. Try doing this first to see how your defensives are looking. If you want more defensives you can even go further as I have done (I'm mostly testing stuff out). I'm currently testing using an Aul's Uprising which allows me to fit another Aura into the build. I've opted to use Vaal Grace swapping out Vaal Haste. This Aura also gets doubled by our chest which allows me to have 17k Evasion Rating with flasks up. The Vaal Skill also gives 35% Attack AND Spell dodge which literally makes us close to unkillable. I'm also using a Watchers Eye to buff the Grace Aura adding 15% movement speed and 10% more attack dodge. Other tips for your gear: Invest into proper flasks. Your flasks have have the right base types but you're lacking suffixes/prefixes. It's important to use the correct flasks with correct suffixes. Example, your life flask should be the one having Bleed Immunity. Get awakened melee physical dmg support. This skill gem is an absolute requirement as it adds Intimidate to the build. This gives the build, straight out, 10% more damage. Get Divergent Hypothermia to the build. 20% quality gives -4% additional cold resistance reduction which is further amplified by our Animate Guardian to -6%. See it as a 6% dps increase. If you're doing 1 million dps per golem right now, these two gems alone will increase it's dps to 1.16 million dps roughly. Buy a 21/0 Carrion Golem, it's much better than 20/20 and costs like 5 chaos. If you got the money, get a 21/20. Buy a 21/0 Animate Guardian. They are really cheap too. Same for Stone Golem, ge ta 21/0 from trade. You NEED to fix quality on ALL your gems. Most of your gems are 20/0. What you need to do is Vendor ALL your 20/0 gems together with one Gem Cutter's Prism per gem. When you vendor a Skill/Support gem at 20/0 with a GCP you get back a 1/20 gem. In order of importance, try doing this: 1. Fix your skill and support gems FIRST. Get level 21 gems where I'm advising and get Quality on most of your gems. Buy NEW support gems for your spectres since most of those gems are corrupted at 20/0 for some reason. 2. Buy Awakened Melee Phys and Divergent Hypothermia. 3. If you're not running Medium Clusters, remove the large cluster, it's a waste of skill points without mediums. 4. Respecc your tree, look at the new PoBs:
Spoiler
[3.14] Medium budget PoBs:
- Full Clusters: https://pastebin.com/bkNjs6Py - Only Medium Clusters: https://pastebin.com/1aDYwSf8 - No Clusters: https://pastebin.com/kzPFn9E4 4. Swap to a Skin of the Lords chest with Phase Acrobatics if you can find one. I put this last as changes to gear feel kinda bad after you've already invested into a decent +1 chest. 5. If you want more defensives, get an Auls Uprising and Vaal Grace. |

" Hello! I'm glad you're back. Well, I agree about endgame but I prefer running heist blueprints(unusual gems) now as we need quite a few alt quality gems and also helping people getting those for your own profit is kinda nice too, but I understand that I'm a new player and I'm not really tired from heists as I didn't run them quite much. Just saying what I'm doing to be interested. For example, I got divergent AG from running 15 maps and saved me 1-2ex, it's not much but still. Just don't get too overwhelmed with questions, we can help each other I think. Your build is very nice. Also, can you provide some info about lab enchantments? What should I be looking for? " Thanks you :-) Yeah, Heist is really good for money, always has been. It's really easy to do though so I don't find much incentive to gear up for Heists. It's also very repetitive. For Lab enchants you'll want to get these ones: Helm: 1. Flesh Offering 21% increased attack speed. This is the best dps one as it adds 21% AS to both Spectres and Golems. 2. 40% Carrion Golem dps/16% attack speed. Decent dps increase. 3. 40% Spectre dps/16% attack speed. Decent dps increase. For utility you can also go: 1. Skitterbots 20% reduced mana reservation. This allows us to possibly fit another small Aura like Vitality if we can fit it in our gear somehow like a Belt corruption. 2. Dash, it either doubles the dash range or gives you +2 charges. Both are very good. 3. Phase Run, 36% increased Duration, very nice. For Boots: Either get 10% increased movement speed or 10% Dodge. Both are very good. For Gloves: Commandment of the Grave is the only decent option. |

Holy crap, a lot to take in- I'll read it a few times and see what I can do.
I'm kind of half way medium/low budget- if I have to choose which clusters to use, I should choose the medium one (and then use the large one too when I get the points, right? Thanks man- really appreciate the help! EDIT: question answered looking at por POB- THANKS!! Last edited by LBC_Immortality on May 8, 2021, 7:26:07 AM

" Thanks. Another question, I noticed you don't really have that much dexterity on your gear to run 20/23 BV. I mean it's decent but for example, I'm running with 62dex neck and 46dex ring which sums to 108dex coming from my gear and yet it's not enough to run 20/23 BV and movement gems because they require 155dex. So I'm using a 30dex node which is a waste of 1 point. Now looking at your gear, you have 25dex helm enchantment, 53dex neck and 27dex ring which sums to 105 from gear. So my question is, how? Same 30dex node or jewels?
" I have 40 dex from skill tree aswell. I dunno where the last dex comes from, maybe it's base dex or something. In total I hae 159 dex. |

Just upgraded my AG so that it's a medium budget version now, totally spent if anyone is wondering:
Boots 1c(1.5% regen) Gloves 20c(40% chaos res+70 flat life) Chest 30c(35% cold res) Heartbreaker+Soultaker=63c Eye of Malice 8c(no % regen corruption but 36% fire res/39% cold res). So it's below 100c even though the league is completely different. I'd say I'm looking forward for my AG to die the first time. Would be cool if we could gather some "unsummon your AG" places to know where he could die easily other than deep delving. I like the fact that he can execute his targets below 10% of their hp now. Should be super helpful in things like killing bosses. Last edited by aquarose_ on May 8, 2021, 10:18:52 AM

" I lost my AG once this league to Viratinia(The Ice conqueror boss). My dps was pretty low so didn't oneshot her. She did the spell where she shoots ice around herself. My AG stood ontop of her and tanked every single projectile and was oneshot. Other than that he shouldn't die to anything I think. Things you might want to be careful about other than her is Metamorphs in Lex Ejoris. Sometimes they they do some self destruct terrorist thing which oneshots everything. If your AG has 60k+ hp or more you shouldn't be too afraid. |

@Deadandlivin
Do you know, does additional chance to block attack damage while under Bone Offering (helm enchantment) applies to you as well? And if it doesn't, what other defensive enchantments can be used?
" I think it works, never tried it though. I can't think of any other defensive enchant to use. I tried experimenting playing without Necromantic + Bone Offering earlier. The tankiness was absurd, literally unkillable. I didn't like it too much though, the clearspeed felt worse. Not because of a lack of dps but because our minions were lacking frenzy charges so their movement speed was atrocious. It made the build feel alot slower. Definitely the route to go if you want to be unkillable. I'll make a video of it later. |
