[3.21] Cold Conversion Summoner | Build guides for all budgets | (Ghazzy Zoomancer)
How does the build stack up against something like chaos animate weapon or phys animate weapon? Played animate weapon last league but the constant ramp up on map start is annoying. also dieing on bosses makes recovery very painful.

" I started working on Animate Weapon last league when I was finished with the league. Got all the gear and leveled up to 80 with to test it out. Then I discovered that you summon 1 Weapon per cast. It felt HORRIBLE imo :) Animate Weapon is good cause it has pretty good numbers and it's very cheap to gear. But honestly, I much more prefer my own build cause it's mostly passive minions. The dps is probably much higher too and if you want to be tanky you can just invest into block and be immortal. You can watch some of the 3.17 low budget videos to see how the build plays. Clears most content in the game at ~5 ex investment, including all Maven Invitations. Wave 30 sims are hard on a budget but possible. I think the new Uber bosses might be too hard and will most likely requires very good gear. Last edited by Deadandlivin on May 11, 2022, 11:36:59 AM

Dear god animated weapon is 1 weapon per cast? I thought it be like skelly lol no thanks XD
Also for league start lvling would absolution work with the tree or just lvl with skelly and zombies? Thanks! So far this build is exactly what I love about minions, a bunch of passive summons, I never like spectre because you only ran like 4 of them. I want a massive army lol. |

What is the Pro and Con about the difference Spectre?
In my Eyes Hyrr + Phantasm Offer more Clear but have a ramp up --> Phantasms needs to Ramp up the Power Charges too after Summon But Ranges --> "safe" DPS dont block our real DPS Boys Zombie + Crush More Singe Target + Debuff Melee the mass blocks our real DPS Bois? What is the difference about Hyrr and Syndicate Operators? | |
" Yeah, Animate Weapon are easily the clunkiest minions in the game. You first got to cast Bladefall on the ground to spawn weapons. Then you gotta individually cast Animate Weapon 5 times to spawn them. After that, you need to cast Bladefall again to spawn new Blades to animate. I played one map with it. My weapons ran out midmap and I had to run away and summon new blades to continue. I logged out from PoE instead :D Leveling with Absolution is actually an excellent idea. I had never thought of it before. For the first 4 Acts you can definitely level with Absolution and I will probably do that too this league. We'll simply replace SRS with Absolution instead and run Skeletons, Zombies and Absolution during the first acts. SRS feel fine too, but they despawn too fast and you have to recast them too much. It'll probably feel much better with Absolution where we just resummon a couple of Sentinels every now and then while casting Skellies elsewhere. I wont have time to change the leveling guide for this league but will most likely change it for next league, assuming it's better (Which it should be since Absolution does Bonkers damage). I'm not sure what Links to run though. But I think I'll be going Absolution - Minion Damage - Added Cold - Added Lightning Skeletons would then have Melee Splash instead of SRS I think. Once you hit Act5 though we'll swap to the actual Mass Summoner build and ditch Absolution. |

" Pretty much as you said. Ranged Spectres + Phantasms is better clearspeed in general cause the Spectres will wipe out ranged monsters ofscreen. Crushclaws offer more Single Target due to more consistent uptime of their Frigid Roar debuff. Zombies are also permanent which means no rampup. Due to the explodey AG however, Crushclaws also have insane clearspeed so I don't see much reason to run Hyrr's Watch with Phantasms. That being said, I did very little testing with them this league as I used Crushclaws throughout the entire league. Syndicate Operatives have even better clear than Hyrr's Watch but do about half the damage. Syndicate Operatives are decent, but they require very good gear so their projectiles actually do enough damage to oneshot trash monsters. Their attackspeed is much faster than Hyrr's watch so they feel alot smoother. Hyrr's watch have a pretty slow attack speed so they can feel clunky at times. |

Build guide Update:
I've now revamped and updated the entire build guide from start to bottom for 3.18 and the upcoming Sentinel League. All PoBs and every version of the build should be up to date with the most recent information regarding the build. That being said, I might have missed some things or made some errors in the editing so if anything is unclear or you find any inconsistency, please write a post about it here so I can edit the build guide or any PoB that's affected. |

" Hey, I was really impressed by your clearspeed demonstration video with exposive AG. I never used AG before, and I am really afraid of losing its gear early due to the lack of experience. So, my question is: how do you usually do with AG? Do you start using it only after accumulating of like 4-5 ex to buy all the gear? Or do ppl start using AG earlier with some cheapish gear? |
