quick question. got a skin of the lords with EE and a pretty decend trigger wand already. in the PoBs the only Damage i actually deal is with BV but its physical damage so it doesnt trigger EE or am i wrong? if so, how do i trigger it? For normal monsters it's still better than leer cast, but lets do the calculation for sirus: He has 50% frost resistance and 66% less curse effectiveness Lets say we have 20/20 Frostbite with 30 Doom, 48% Elemental Weakness from Gloves and exposure from Elemental Army That's 50 - (44 * 1.3 * 0.33 + 20 * 1.48 * 0.33 + 10) = 11 (positive resistance) So by using eye of malice you are actually buffing his frost resistance by another 5. Redeemer helmet with -9% cold resistance to nearby enemies is stronger and also cheaper atm (still 50c though). The best is probably Crown of the Tyrant, but those go for 4ex rigght now. In my PoB the difference is miniscule for normal mobs, but pretty substantial on sirus. But with Impulsa the shaper helmet probably makes more sense you're right. Regarding EE in general - i feel like it's not actually worth that much. It's -10% more exposure compared to awakened cold pen. Manually cursing a lvl 21 frostbite with max doom gives -58 res compared to a ring trigger frostbite (+32%) with -33 res.
