What games do you guys play other than POE?

stellaris, time to finally beat the unplugged origin

Love Stellaris (at least, the version I played some time back). Still waiting for the game to stabilize in a persistent paradigm. ='[.]'=

roll with the blows man, it will never happen ;)
I think they like to reinvent the whole think every 2 years or so. After understanding the current system i even kind of like it more than the one before. But lets see what they will do next

sorry to inject, but did they balance the battles/militaristic/domination goals at all? or is it still like CK3 in space? My first playthrough Stellaris was amazing due to setting and lore but the 'domination' path almost felt like unintended way to play the game.

Currently i guess the become the crisis path(like transcendence win in Alpha centauri) is the intended way to go. Depending on the crisis it either meshes well with domination or not. But both of them are valid.

There is also the overlord method which works well in hand with a political domination/custodian win.
But it feels like they balanced stellaris more about fleet battles. They want you to battle, even on "peaceful" win paths. (like for example toppling the xenophobe party from an empire to make it more cooperative)

i see, i guess mashing things up can make it more interesting. I'm just used to games like Civ where you can mass army and just push and push. Needing permission to attack someone or straight up inability to violate a post war peace treaty felt odd :P

Tried BL4 for a bit. Game's kinda mid at best overall and performance is ass with their current UE 5 engine. Feels like it has a giant base cost (GPU+CPU load speaking) even though nothing is happening on screen.
Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
"A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body."

Only usable with Ethanol Flasks
Well, since i'm father now I have way less time to play, but here are my favourites besides POE: motor town: behind the wheel, grim dawn, diablo 2 resurrected, oillars of eternity and world of warcraft (only if i have few hours).
For me it's usually fighting games, sometimes shooters, but i do enjoy my arpgs, no matter what i always come back to them eventually, just something about them that just can't be beat for me honestly.
Was watching Josh Strife Hayes playing Heroes of Might and Magic the other day and instantly got that itch again...

Spend the next day figuring out how to run HoMM3 on linux properly and now I'm addicted again. Forgot how hard that game was :D

Doing some more characters in Project Diablo 2 mod, while waiting for Moon Beast Productions studio access to their game alpha.

Tired of PoE2 chore and waiting as well for detox with 3.27 ;)
