The build is awsome.. Cannot wait for level 59 to equip Expedition's End. Wasted one ex to buy one and I will just get a helmeth with flat life and resistance to get around the three dragons.
I think you get a lot more life/ es with a crafted chest but I like the chill from the armour :) But how does the armour work with the shock shananigan ? All your damage can freez. So technically I take down the three dragons and my normal lightning damage can now freez and shock ? Or I still need some cold damage / fire damage / pys damage somewere to spells ? I've been trying out this build and I'm loving it so far. It feels rippy, but my gear is absolute garbage right now and I still need uber lab, so that is expected. I'm trapped in a cycle of buying cluster jewels so I can keep investing in the tree, then by the time I have enough currency saved up for the next upgrade, I have more passives to spend so I have to buy another cluster. Aaaaaah! Oh well, I'll get it there eventually.
Question... I see people complaining on the patch notes posts about a bug where blastchain mines with tremor rod don't trigger all at once, leading to a 'massive DPS loss'. This doesn't seem like a problem to me, other than it maybe taking 2 seconds longer to destroy a map boss after stacking mines. It doesn't seem to be a DPS loss truly since the mines will go off on the second or third trigger, so more of a instant burst loss I guess? The normal use case is that we're only dropping one stutter step's worth of mines, which is less than the 10 or so it takes to trigger the bug. I haven't played mines before this character, so I don't have anything to compare to. Is the bug actually a problem for this build at all? | |
With expedition's end, lightning can shock just fine, as well as freeze. No need for special things.
You don't really need Clarity anymore, so Enlighten 4 just means a higher level Vitality. Ok, so I'm playing along and am almost at Act V. It's great. But now I have Wave of Conviction, Purifying Flame, Assassin's Mark, Frost Shield, and Arcanist Brand to juggle. And it feels really shitty. I can't even set up all 5 without losing movement.
Am I missing something here? Is it Wave and Flame for mobs, and Mark and Brand for bosses? Or can you set up any of them with Cast on Taking Damage? | |
" You put Arcanist Brand+Wave of Convicion+Assasin's Mark+Purifying Flame together in a 4Link and then you only cast Arcanist Brand and the brand will cast the other spells by itself. Frost Shield, I would just ignore until way late when you have a couple thousand ES (even then, I've opted to completely skip it). | |

Can someone please check my character and tell me where I'm going wrong? Only 60 mana is available for me to use after activating vit/wrath/zeal, I have them linked with a lvl 3 enlighten support, How the lots of you isn't having the same exact issue knowing that level 4 enlighten only provides 4% less reservation?
Plus generally I'd love to know what gear I should upgrade the most, I tried to match my gear with the original build creator as much as possible, some gear was no where to be found in the market such as the amulet |
