In my opinion it's worse by quite a bit for the following reasons:

-Only 1 Brand can be attached to an enemy, so you loose your storm brand to proc Elemental Overload. That's why my recommendation is to use self cast WOC + curse on hit, because:
-You only use it for bosses and no QOL for maps is needed
-If you learn boss spawn mechanics you can precast Wave of Conviction from a bit of distance, so that WOC starts traveling and hits the boss as soon as it spawns. this allows you to instantly apply WOC + Curse right of the first split second of the boss fight maximizing your DPS


with boot enchant bottles faith i habe 50 % crit , with my bow corruption even more.
the brand was never needed for me to proc eo.
also it attaches near instant.

it may not be best with ur setup but for stuff like rogue metamorphs , double guardians it is far superior imo.
i leved quite abit from 98 to 99 with sinulacrums there it was roy nice.
because i dont want to get to personal with mr cosis and his bros.
when u want to level and not die that is !!!

with lvl 100 in softcore i can see that u dont see the appeal

edit, just hit 99 7232 hp , no death from 98 to 99.

For clearing , especially on open maps like canyon i can suggest dying sun, huge spread and the extra aoe increases the spread radius noticeable.





Are you sure about the spread readius increase? Normally tags like "Nearby enemies" are not scalable with AOE.




The little research i just did(reddit threads about it) heavvily suggests it does, and with testing it felt that even 10 % aoe made a noticable difference.

With additional 25 aoe from flask it felt like it cleared around corners and trough doors a lot more.

I will do further research to find definiv proof.

Sry to Spam but this one is important.

I think i discovered a very important bug.

I realized on several occasions that i lose all my regen.
i checked everything map mods , burning/chaos ground/debuffs and the golem was alive.

i had like 30 regen left in character tab. And my actual hp regen was really only that low(because i lost hp and saw it climb that slow).

This happened to me on at least 3 different occasions in the last days.

All golems were alive but summoning stone golem again by hand always fixed it.

Any ideas what this could be? Other than a bug?

@Karklaps How do you deal with curses on you without a Warding flask? Or you just don't?
did u use a headhunter @hardprimat?

i think it could be something with auras falling off.

anyone with hh experienced that?

i have a spare remove curse mana flask and a remove curse quicksilver.
But i never use them anymore.
I even like temp chains because it makes ur hh buffs last longer.
For budget option, wouldn’t Loreweave be better option than Hyrri’s? You get ~12% damage mitigation with 78% res cap. Extra elemental damage, life, stats, resists. Hyrri gives lots of Dex but requires more Dex than Xoph’s to use.

I still haven’t found an answer as for my physical damage mitigation/golem. Would 9 chaos golems grant 4% damage mitigation each before the buffs or do you only get one buff from each golem type and the extra golems just increase the buff? I’m at ~45% phys mitigation with 1 chaos or 9 chaos. I get absolutely destroyed by porcupines. I kill a pack and they kill me before I even know they were in the map.

Looking at POB, it seems using unbound ailments actually lowers DPS? What’s the preference for using it over swift affliction?

Hey all,

I was wondering if my golem survivability gets any better the further i gear up?

Currently using 23/20 golem gems, but missing one Eminence + 2nd large cluster.

Golems keep dying and it's really frustrating to constantly resummon them.
